I did this for a BLM fundraiser and trying to do this while studying for the CPA and moving was a hell of a time. I hope you like it Stonefades!!! I think it came together well :). Coloring by Maryxstuart
What I always loved about OUAT is how they developed the villains; they're not cartoonishly evil people who just do bad things for the sake of evil. They were all just ordinary people, and usually good people who were living ordinary lives until some pain or tragedy came along and turned their lives upside down and so they ended up on a path of darkness either to protect themselves from being hurt again or to try to get revenge for the pain they suffered.
She is not a good mother and has manipulated her daughters, too, Garfio and Rumple 2 times (in the past and in the future, when he is Mr. Gold) Rumple wants power but un the end he choses love and her family ,i m Happy that she changues in sesone 5 and. talks with Regina and Zelina and finally go to Heaven
All she wanted was for her daughter not to suffer like she did. Not to kneel before anybody or be humiliated like they humiliated her. She gave Zelena away because she reminded her of the man who tricked her
She didn't have a heart for years, that's partly why she was evil and didn't know how to love her daughter, but she got rid of it in the first place because of her love of power and status. It's sad that Cora's heart was poisoned when she got it back because that probably would've helped her be less evil.
it's so interesting that at the first, for me,Cora was nothing but an extra ambitious woman, abusive mother and someone which the show should get rid off soon!but after learning her entire story, she's one of the greatest characters in my opinion😁😁😁
What’s funny is that my favourite childhood story was the one about the miller’s daughter and Rumpelstiltskin, and Cora’s one of my favourite characters in the show
@@soixsantes so sorry I know this is a very late reply, I not sure, I seem to drawn to the characters that people tend to dislike and I like to look into them and understand their character right back to their roots because once you learn what they went through you seem to have a new outlook on them and because they are still standing and still striving you like them for their resilience and their strength regardless of whether they’re the villain or the hero.
@soixsantes in all honesty, she just never healed from the first 2 times she got played. The "prince" played her, then when she found a real love, the princess (Snow's mother, go figure LOL no wonder she killed her) played her too. Her mind was framed from that point on, don't allow anyone to have power over you. And when she felt like she couldn't do that on her own, she took her heart out so she felt nothing anymore
She was my favourite character of the show. Extremely ruthless, but at the same time likeable. Her actions were completley evil, but you could perfectly understand how she ended up being the villain she was. I think she is the best written character of all the show, along with Rumple (in the first seasons)
OMG I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! Thank you SO much for this, you really told her story so beautifully!! I love the song choices too :) Every scene, moment, dialogue in this is so well chosen and this video shows her character and her arc perfectly. Thank you again!! 💛💛
this woman is a symbol of terrible power and ruthless cunning. playing a long game no one was able to see until it was too late to do anything. imo hershey brought this villainess to life. every smile, every sentence has a motive, is calculated and thought out. the queen mother and the ultimate manipulator. her power is almost level with rumple's at this point before the dark curse.
I really thought Cora was one of the original characters written only for the series like Emma and Henry. I felt a brush of goosebumps upon discovering she's the miller's daughter from the Rumplestiltzkin story.
4:55 Cora and Rumple actually make a really cute and healthy couple, much more healthier than Belle and Rumple anyway. 7:00 Rumple 🤣 15:15 I love how, even though Hades is a villain, he's calling Cora out on how shitty of a parent she is. 16:04 I'm so glad Zelena's finally getting the closure she needed. 😇
Cora's story is basically the story of Rumpelstiltskin. This is like basically God that's how many years before Regina came into the picture. This is God knows how many years before Regina Mills was turned INTO the evil queen.
She will be my all time favorite OUAT villain just for how clever they made her character. Not only was she the Millers Daughter from Rumplestiltskin but she was the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. She was literally the Queen of Hearts, a sorceress who rips out hearts including her own, which was the reason why she was so ruthless. Cora was never evil she was just full of hate because she didn’t have heart inside of her, so without it she thought love was weakness.
Nah no you don't no you do not have any place in her heart anymore You lost that place a long time ago because of what you did. Regardless of what you put in motion for her You destroyed her happy ending that she found with Daniel. It wasn't Snow White that caused Regina to turn into the evil queen It was you Cora Mills. DAUGHTER LIKE MOTHER!
This was an Incredible Masterpiece for Cora Mills/The Queen of Hearts My Tenth Favorite Villain in Once Upon a Time. I much as I Understand Cora’s Motives and she wasn’t born Evil but tearing her own heart out definitely made her into a Monster. Barbra Hershey and Rose McGowan both definitely did Phenomenal Performances Bringing this Fantastic Character and Villain to life.
Then here is Cora accepts finally the union of daniel and régina and she them give a gift, she sends them in our world (like baelfire at episode 1x19) and a minute more later, she turns into régina (with its powers) and takes his place and is married with the father of snow and spread a rumor than daniel is suicide because of snow, and when emma ward off the curse, cora decides of is suicide and of leave of video messages
