Cause imagine being taught that Sith would attempt to attack and kill you at any cost, and when you meet the one known as Darth Vectivus, he doesn’t try to kill you, he just sits down and try’s to convince you which is the better deal. Cogniferous Exactly. Not gonna lie, seems like a nice way to go out. Just straight up used the force in day to day life, and helped many people to be better off in life. I think that’s what I would do honestly. Only used the dark side because that’s all he knew from the Dark Side Force Nexus, and the Jedi wouldn’t allow him to do this because they’d think he would turn evil and get power hungry and would try to kill him. The Jedi order seems to not have been all that great in the end. Some Jedi Orders in the past were good and just, but the one Anakin and the 501st Clones wiped out really just sucked on many levels.

I think I’d end up like him if I could, really. Just use the force, whether light or dark, and help others and gain knowledge of my powers and the force and the galaxy. He died technically more fulfilled than most other Jedi and Sith in the end. Friends, family, businesses that gave billions people jobs across the galaxy, and a legacy of a good man.

John Morgan Yeah, pretty much. The order was stagnant, highly hypocritical, and truly arrogant on so many levels. Anakin’s job as chosen one was to reset everything and fix it. He had to destroy the old order in order for another, better one to take its place some time later down the line with Luke. Destroyed the Jedi, then the Sith. Anakin was the Force’s way of pressing the galactic reset button.

Which is why every single Force user who tried to use both either turned into hermits because of their struggle to maintain their sense of self, or went full out darkside. The "balance of the Force" is one of the most misunderstood parts of Star Wars in the entire fandom. It's nothing to do with using both sides, or there being equal Sith to Jedi, or anything like that. But the balance is another way of saying "stability", of which is the Force (also called the light) without corruption of the imbalanced and destructive darkness of what is the Darkside. The flaw of the Jedi (at least the Odan Urr Jedi, aka the prequel type Jedi) is that they associated normal every day emotions, such as love, romance, attachment and so on with "the Darkside", when that was not true. As the earliest Jedi fully allowed relationships and all emotions, just as long as they didn't actually make use of their emotions to tap into the Darkside of the Force and its power. But the Jedi after Odan Urr became paranoid, and changed the Jedi code to ban all emotions, because they saw the allowance of them being "too risky" and too much of a temptation that could "lead to the Darkside". This ironically made them afraid of their own natural emotions, leading many of them to be unloving, apathetic, disconnected from the galaxy, and dead to the Force, and thus also easily blinded by the Darkside, as they were with Palpatine. Though bad writing in part is to blame for this misunderstanding as well, as Lucas didn't make himself clear in the prequel movies when he first introduced the concept, but he made himself clear on what he meant in interviews and such.

Some kind of anti-hero/anti-villan thing where you don't feel bad rooting for the "bad guy" because he's actually not that bad of a guy, and the "heroes" are blind, stuck-up pricks? I could get behind that. The business of asteroid mining has enough potential for wacky hijinks that the sith powers could be shown off, but in a necessary and controlled way.

@@timh.6872 To be honest, the Jedi start to look like a fanatical religious cult when they insist all SIth are evil and must be killed on sight, then you mention 'Darth Vectivus.... and the SIth Holocaust.

And as he keeps backing up, harmlessly deflecting their attacks and throwing none of his own, they would all backstep away one by one, until the last one stepped back, lightsaber in blocking position. Vectivus would slowly deactivate his lightsaber, and speak in an even, almost crooning voice: "Drinks, anyone?"
