There she is! That's Eleanor!

She's so cute! So was she your first choice in the end? Key actually wasn't my first choice based on the photos I saw of the litter, I had wanted the wolf grey, but he was already taken. So I chose the only black in the litter and I'm so happy I did! He also has heterochromia in his left eye, it's partly blue which means that eye reflects red from a camera flash while the fully amber brown eye reflects green or blue.

I'm so happy little Eleanor is making your family feel more complete again! Be ready for a life of adventures, fun and love little girl. You have the best family!

Eleanor is adorable, for sure. I love her coat color. One of my huskies had heterochomia too. I was really hoping you'd get another rescue. I have always been sweet on Oakley over the years because I was a husky mom to 2 rescues--1 which had some "issues." I know they're extra work, but so worth it. We, like Jess & Jamie, went above & beyond to make our dog's remaining years the best they ever had. All pets need love, but I think rescues need an extra measure, whether it be because of health issues, or mistreatment. By watching GTTSD all these years, one thing I can say without question is that Jess & Jamie LOVE, LOVE, LOVE their dogs. So I know that they have what a rescue dog needs to thrive & live the life that they deserve. While I love all of the girls, and look forward to watching Eleanor grow up, if I get to vote for the next addition to the pack, it would definitely be a rescue.

Eleanor is absolutely darling! Love how you came up with her name. So neat that each girl is a different color. My son & I fell in love with the agoutae color when we visited Ann Palmer to get our Husky, Storm. He looks so much like Memphis. He is 2 years younger than Memphis & from the same Father. Congrats on this new little girl! She is sure to steal many hearts!!🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

I believe that things happen for a reason and that is how everything came together for Eleanor to join your family. She is a PERFECT fit not only for you and Jamey, but for Kira and Memphis (Belle, I LOVE that!) as well. On a side note, a good friend of mine had a Husky back in the 1980’s named Czar, and he had a blue eye and a brown eye, so I knew that was not uncommon for Huskies. Czar looked a lot like Kira and had an awesome personality. Very easy going and affectionate. My friend was, and still is, a drummer. In fact, he played for Hall & Oates for over 3 years. Anyway, Czar would lay right in front of the double bass drums while my friend practiced. He just loved doing that for some reason! To this day, we still talk about Czar, he was just the best!

Eleanor is so precious, but all of your pups are and have been! I am so happy that you share your furry fam with us!

Funny that you mentioned the name Ellie as a small dog name. In September of 2021 some close friends of ours decided to start breeding Pomskies and my wife fell head over heels for one of the girls in the litter and we named her Ellie Mae. We also love your collar choice for Eleanor, we had a Chocolate Lab mix who passed from old age back in Feb of 2020 that wore the exact same collar. When I first saw Eleanor I knew she would have orange or yellow as her color because either of those colors would be perfect for her coat color. Awesome to hear Eleanor's full story and so glad to keep seeing her become a perfect addition to your pack.

Eleanor is a wonderful name for this beautiful little lady. Since 4 weeks I'm the new owner of an now4 month old chocolate Labby boy called Henry. It's so wonderful to watch them grow.

After hearing that Eleanor's litter is named after magic...I really hope she likes costumes so she can wear the witchy dresses with her sisters. They can be a little coven! It's nice to hear their full names!

I love Eleanor's name, the color of her coat, her beautiful eyes, and the orange collar, leash, etc. I love all your huskies, but can't always watch all the vlogs, posts, etc. I do enjoy them when I can watch, though. Long live the beautiful snow dogs!

She looks extremely similar to my Suka who is a Norwegian Elkhound/Siberian Husky mix. Gorgeous!

We have our Norwegian Elkhound, Attaroa. Being an elkhound she has a very similar coat to Eleanor. Her color is also orange and I can 100% agree, orange looks beautiful with this kind of coat.

I love ❤ Eleanor and now I know so many facts about her.

We just brought home our third husky; an agouti boy named Luka. With us having a black and white boy and an all white boy, it now looks like our printer tan out of ink 😂 Enjoy the puppy days! I can’t wait to watch Eleanor grow 💕

My vet recommends to wait to spay/ neuter until at least 2. But he time a dog is 2 you know for sure all the growth plates are closed and they got the benefits of the hormones that come with being intact. I love Eleanor! She’s very cute! Sable/ agouti is my favorite color to see on a husky (even though I’ll probably never own one lol)

Wow! That is cool. You would have been in our neck of the woods. We lived in Toledo for nine years before moving onto Indiana last May. Than made the decision to move back to Michigan, where family is last August. You made quite a journey yourself beautiful little Eleanor. What a great story! Saw your video you were so close when you picked up Eleanor I live 45 minutes away from Toledo I was from Toledo when my parents moved us from Toledo we live in Elmore Ohio out in the country about 5 mins from our little town but still in Elmore I watched your videos all the time though the years love watching them on RU-vid and Facebook and you live in Michigan which is also close and the places you travel with the dogs are so beautiful up there love it and the fact you guys love camping my family has a camper too we go camping too every year except we stay put we camp at a Christian campground and we put our camper their all year long it’s fun we love it out their we make lots of friends over their we also do operation Christmas Child aka samaritans purse we pack shoeboxes for third world countries kids who are very very poor and when they receive a shoebox they also get to hear Gods word and get saved yes we have lots of fun again love watching your videos you guys always make me happy when I see your videos

Her Birthday is 2 days before my Husbands. She is a cutie

I like her full name, she's a beautiful husky. My purebred poodle puppy's full registered name is Tuxedo's Little Mystery, but her pet name is Velma. My puppy was born only a month before Eleanor, in early September, but Ella is already much bigger lol. Can't wait to see more of her!

Definitely I can see why many think she a mix breed. When I first saw the puppy I immediately thought she was a Husky mixed with an Akita. She's beautiful.
