We don’t usually think of erasers - until we’ve made a mistake. They are the unsung companion of the pencil. For the artist, they are an invaluable tool. Erasers give us the ability to change, edit, and improve our work. They give us the freedom to create without worry.
This episode is the first of a two part series on the “Story of Erasers.”
For part one we will look at the history of the eraser.
Later, in part two, we will investigate the many kinds of erasers available today.
