So I was living in Watts near Markham Middle school when WVG and FTMC were neutral from 2004-2008. In early 2010 I moved out of Watts and my mother moved to the borderline at 105th street near Lou Dillon. She moved out in late 2010 the year before it got really ugly. If she would have stayed there I would have had to watch my back so much OR I would have gotten shot/killed during my visits to her old apartment.
I have the same thoughts, I lived on Lou Dillon but should we not had moved I would of had to be watching my back all the time cause more than likely I would of been in a gang from Watts.

You know in all time going to Los Padrinos, Sylmar, Central or the county jail, I never once ran into a Watts Varrio Grape. Baby Locs is a different story.
theyre not as active as they were in the past. Really only the Watts gangs that are located in the projects are going strong. Varrio Grape never really had a lot of members in the Jordan Downs they were mostly in the surrounding neighborhoods. Since regentrification a lot of them have moved out Watts
I was at Jordan when Emmanuel "Dexter" got killed also was at Markham with Donald Ray (who killed the baby). This war was hella active in the late 2000s, and early 2010s. Many of the Fudgetowns live in San Bernardino and only come back to Watts to visit family or for hood day. They would do drive bys on the Varrio Grape then jump back on the freeway headed back to San Bernardino before Varrio Grape could retaliate. Nowadays, Both these gangs are pretty much non existent (at least in Watts) due to Regentification and Inflation. Many have moved out of Watts to the Inland Empire or out of the state. For some reason a lot of Varrio Grape went out to Oklahoma.

It didn’t start in 08 with Archie (R.i.p) it actually started when neefee (Kevin) was killed and it’s been up and stuck up there since…..this one hit me close to home since I’m from grape and neefee from fudge town was my day 1 that hung with me and my brother EVERY day! I use to sleep in neefee house, ate at his table, use to get dropped off at school by his uncle donut which later added the G_Donut…..we had a click with the fudge towns coming up that was called C.S.P “Can’t stop pimpin” which consisted of just grape st and fudge towns and we use to hang either at neefee house which sat on 105th between hickory and Lou Dillion or a dee (big mouse from fudge town) son which they house sat on the corner of 105th and grape or we all use to just hang on Lou Dillon and 105th in front of big Al’s bike shop which sat directly around the corner from neefee house on Lou Dillon…..when this beef started I didn’t want no parts of it cuz most of the fudge towns that were my age I knew them all well cuz they were actually genuinely friends to me! Watts up to Felix, Joe and my F.T’s I came up with, fly high my niggaz neefee, archie and big donut! I really hated that this war kicked off cuz it split families up frfr! 😢 #WATTSUP
