This is a memorial on Hachikō a loyal Akita who waited at a train station for it's owners return. But it's owner was never going to return.

I really hate this story and even no dare to watch again because everytime i watch this, my keyboard is wet because of tears ...I love dogs.

I will save up enough money to pay for a flight to Tokyo in order to visit the statue of Hachiko and pay my respects to such a loyal dog.

@@peachygrape9095 Thanks for the info. Granted, I already knew where the statue of Hachiko was located. The Shibuya pedestrian crossing in my opinion is Tokyo's answer to Times Square in New York City because they are both big, bustling, and brightly lit up at night. It's really awesome watching the flurry of activity in the Shibuya crossing from the Starbucks Coffee shop in the Q Front CD store.

Hello! Can you tell us more about Hachiko's life in Professor Ueno's house? Describe his life there, his relationship with the owner? How did Ueno treat him? Did Ueno have a family, children? And what is shown in the Japanese film, when the professor took a bath with Hachiko, caught fleas from him for hours, and Hachi fell asleep in his arms is it true?

Hachi had only over 1 year of happy puppy dog life with Professor Ueno, but he had endured over 9 years of heartbreaking waiting for his beloved master at the gate of the train station until died of hopeless. It is very Sad......

In away I think so too. But in a way they are together now. Hachiko is kept in science museum named after professor Ueno.

they did buried him next to his master...they cremate him and took his ashes n buried him beside his master
