Yes Rockefeller was definitely part sociopathic. His work however helped the public immensely. Without his efficient technique, oil would have remained unaffordable to the masses for a much longer period of time
That's actually not true. It's far more dynamic than people think. Some poor people become rich, some rich people become poor. There is always new blood entering and old blood leaving.

Regarding the 'Cleveland massacre', Rockefeller was refining oil so efficiently that he could drop the price of oil significantly while remaining profitable, but that would kill his competitors. He also wanted CONSUMER oil price to go down for regular consumers to enjoy cheap oil. That why he offered to buyout their inefficient businesses, to keep them from bankruptcies. Very kind of him if you ask me!! Many would just keep the oil price high at the same time forcebly buyout theor competitors and enjoy massive margines for themselves. He was philanthropic baptist, who got on a mission to keep prices of oil low for REGULAR HOUSEHOLDS, by controlling all supplychains (railroads, piplines...) against those who profit for power & greed.

The only issue with this is that in all my studies of J. D. Rockefeller I've never found a proven example of him bribing any legislator. It would have been nice if you could have verified that claim because the thing is, he didn't need political pull. He was the quintessential genius of laissez-faire capitalism. It was the wannabe competitors that needed to bribe politicians in order to compete, not him. It's a sad thing when someone is attacked by government force simply for being the best at what they do

@@hamzahsamah4558 It's not a matter of what you believe, it's a matter of what is fact or not fact. So far I have never found any example of Rockefeller buying political favor. Maybe he did but until someone can point to an example of his doing so I wouldn't just assume it.

Everything was more natural back then.. we got protein from meat ultimately due too the vegetation they consumed.. now they’re being fed toxic chemicals hormones and god knows what else.. our vegetables were more naturally treated and big pharma too.. ever notice when you go to the doctor no matter what you go for they nvr give you a prescription for anything remotely natural it’s always a chemically made pill spray or powder..
Men of those times had a stronger will to live. That coupled with the toxins of our modern world (plastics, garbage food, pollution of city living) and modern “medicine” hah!!! He basically offered them lucrative buy out deals, and if they refused, he promised to squeeze them out the market through vicious competition and logistical squeeze (since he had deep relationships with everyone in the supply chain)
Showed them the books, and showed that he could operate at a loss a lot longer than they could and he would dio the rail cord rates so low for transportation that they wouldn’t be able to transport oil through the railroads. (Keep in mind this is when America was coming into their first industrialization, and there were only 3 major railroads companies)None the less because they couldn’t transport they would go bankrupt, or he gave them an option sell out to him for his price and work for him.
