Introduced for the first time in the King of Fighters 2000, Kula Diamond was created to counterbalance the presence of the Nests saga's protagonist, K'. Her Cryokinesis abilities (control of ice), make her a unique character with interesting set of moves.

It's fun and ironic how Kula's main target and rival later became her big brother. But no matter how grumpy and a meanie K' can be, he'll never be mean enough as to make her cry. They're best SNK brother-sister ever, and they're not even related.

Iori has no family, friends, is stalked by dead women he killed, and is tied to orochi. Kyo is the closest thing to a friend he has. As weird as that sounds. His rivalry with Kyo makes him feel a little at ease

I would be interested seeing Candy (Kula's Friend/Sister) coming back as playable in future KOF Installments alongside Rocky (Maxima's Partner from Robo Army). Come to think of it, there aren't many Robot Archetypes in KOF, maybe this will be the opportunity for a Robot Fighting Team.

Fun fact: Kula's "La*Cachora" special is inspired by Las Cachorras Orientales, a wrestling stable. During one match, they even did a four-woman post over an opponent's prone body in the exact position shown in the super- Akira Hokuto was in Kula's position, and even used it to flip off the president of the company their victim (Dynamite Kansai) was from.

thx man ^_^ saw Kula randomly on a mugen i used to play, liked her and searched her origin. Found out abou Kof and got interested in it... i decided to pick the game along with the new KOF XV and planned on using Kula from start, and this video is very helpful to know about the character i want to main :) sadly Kula has yet to be announced in KOF XV... do you think she is gonna be released in XV ? i sure hope so... xD
