Hey guys, Inzanic here, I don't know where to start but I want to thank everyone who helped with the project. Specially NovaUmbra who is the narrator, and Seletron who helped with the script, as well as everybody else who helped with the story, information, etc... This video was made for them, and it is our little gift for these 10 amazing years of music. I had so much fun working on this project, many months of work, even if I was busy sometimes, I always tried to work on it 24/7 If I had to, just like everybody else. And looking forward to work on many more projects in the near future. I hope you all enjoy the video, because it was also made for you guys, to know the story behind NCS, even if it's 1 hour long, and not every single detail is in there, I tried as hard as possible so the documentary could be seen in a certain for you guys to experience how each year felt back then, with old screenshots, and old footage, hoping to bring you back to when everything started, until these days. I always saw NCS as that huge dream & when I finally landed a track on it it was even better than I could imagine. They do such an amazing work. Had a problem once the owner Billy actually came to help fix it. Not many labels are that close to their artists. Thanks Slashtaq for making all of it happen ❤️
Hey Wanden, I noticed your song “Better Off” on NCS which I thought was a banger! But I was just wondering how your career has been going since NCS. I’m an aspiring music producer, but I don’t really know how to promote myself which is why I’m interested in NCS if they’re still accepting songs. I noticed you only had 160 subscribers on your RU-vid channel which is good, but I assumed that NCS would help promote your brand/channel a little more! In general, has NCS made a big difference in your career? Thanks!

What a documentary! Having edited an hour long video before, this is top tier content here, amazing job Inzanic on the editing, and a great job to everyone else involved. I think this tops what VNF has done for NCS so far, even more than everyone standing to comment and get *They Watchin Me* the release it deserved. It's a shame the documentary got a claim from the one copyrighted song used, but I guess it just shows the beauty of why NCS was so important to RU-vid in general.
a well-crafted documentary for sure. ncs still has a place in my heart for allowing me to enjoy the best in electronic music which has remained my main taste, and to meet friends online through sharing the same interest in a music label. i know the community isn’t always at its best but i’ve had a lot of fun and memories and i hope to still make a few more. once again, great work!

SUCH A BIG JOB THAT NEEDS TO BE MORE VIEWED ! Very underrated ! This video is truly amazing, it's not the first time i'm seeing it but it always blow my mind. Since the day the video been uploaded until now, there's so much that happened (AW's comeback and many more others like Itro, RetroVision..., Tobu's deleted tracks, bunch of big artists debuting such as NEFFEX, Phonk introducements...) and of course the end of 2021 until now. Would love to see one day a new part/updated version of The Story of NCS, maybe for NCS20 haha
This is beautifully made! ❤️❤️❤️I remember the early days of the community really getting tight around late 2017, and it’s crazy to think that was almost 5 years ago. Not to mention, the Isosonify days which was over 4 years ago now. Though I stopped uploading rankings & NCS related videos, I still listen & follow the label very regularly & no label even comes close to the consistency & community that they’ve built and worked so hard for for the last 11 years
Very well made, surprised this came into my recommended. Been looking into older edm from around 2012-2015 and NCS happened to have a lot of bangers from back then. This certainly should get more views and hopefully will blow up soon!

NCS has played a big role in my exploration of the EDM world and is one of the reasons why I became a producer! I've watched this documentary with a lot of interest, along with some nostalgia.
30:12 FUN fact. Stan SB - Let This Go had the same information in the description after NCS changed it on Sep ~22 2014 (one week before NCS purged down 21 songs, including one release (Kasbo - Steps) which was deleted by mistake). September 29 2014 was day when NCS Lost 8.96M views (~13% of Total view count). Dec 3 2014 [date of Deletion of Krewella - Come and Get It (Razihel Remix)] was also tragic, because of 9.4M views lost.
thanks for this documentary! I found NCS music from a channel called MASTER GAMING, which is a non-commentary second channel of MasterOv. I didn't really think much of them until I heard what I eventually found out was Alan Walker's Spectre, which kind of flipped a "switch" in me that drew me into NCS and eventually, other channels and artists. I've been listening to NCS on and off for well over 6 years now, I know it was at least that long ago because I remember Sky High had just released and I really loved that track. While I haven't really listened to NCS for a while until recently, as alot of the newer music isn't really my style, it was definitely the springboard for a gem mine of music that I still discover and listen to today. Thank you NCS and the artists for that!
Video Layout NCS Songs In 2016, NCS started putting an video starting with Spitfya x Desembera - Cut the Check. In 2019 and 2020, NCS put either videos or photos as the background. In 2021, NCS put videos for their backgrounds in EVERY video. In the years 2020 and 2021, the circle was lighter than the circles you see today, especially that Melodic Dubstep songs were now light blue. On Jan 27 2022, NCS made their backgrounds fade in the begining while the NCS logo and the circle stayed there (starting Elektronomia - Collide). On that same year on Sep 24 after the jeonghyeon remix of Electric (by Vaance, Deerock & Robbie Rosen), NCS uploaded one video with the circle and the background fading in at the begining of the video, staring with E Welem Bah by Paul Flint. Then on Sep 27, NCS made the background, circle and logo fade in at the begining of the video. With the same features from Sep 27, NCS made the background Zoom in as the song was playing. Arcade Songs Starting with Netrum & Halvorsen's Circle, the background and the circle fade in while the Arcade logo appears into the video and the circle spins once, then spins the opposite way. Then on October 19 2022, the first arcade song had an animated background, debuting with iFeature's Dreamatic. Then on December 21 2022, the first video with a spining background was uploaded. It basically spins clockwise first, then counter-clockwise and it keeps doing that but at different speeds, like at the drop, it spins clockwise fast. The first song with that layout was iFeature - Party. Starting 2023 with the 2nd arcade release of the year, the video had a different circle type. With JOXION, Thorne & iFeature's song - Unstoppable, the circle reflected into the background and the circle was more thinner. This was for the NEXT_GEN songs on NCS Arcade. NEXT_GEN songs would ONLY be released by JOXION, Thorne & iFeature. Then on March 24 2023, the layout was changed again. Debuting with CØDE - Don't Left Me, the background and the logo would appear but the circle would appear at the 3rd second of the video. Then on May 17 2023, the first arcade video with another changed layout was uploaded. The layout had the background fade in, then at the 3rd second, both the Arcade logo and the circle would appear. This song was called Carpö & MIHXI - Grey (ft Endpoint)
They ended at the best part tbh. NCS10 and Screen Time were phenomenal and they made Full Circle. 2022 brought us the Arcade label and 2023 introduced a new circle color with Phonk releases. I'd love to see a continuation in the next years.

what a journey this video was, it makes me appreciate a lot more the community and of course NCS. It makes me remember that i am so lucky to be able to listen their amazing music and to belong to such a great community. I'm literally speechless. I discovered NCS in mid 2020 (after years unknowingly listening to its songs in several videos), coincidentally when I just fell in love with a girl from uk (where ncs was born). Many memories; many good but also many bad moments... It's been a journey, an unique experience. Thank you Billy; Thank you Scrubba, you will never be forgotten; and thanks everyone who was involved in this very well made documentary. NCS is love, NCS is life.

NCS was my gateway into the world of EDM, and looking back at how the label has grown and evolved throughout the years is surreal. Many of the songs on the label have had a profound impact on my life, and I am forever grateful to the staff, community and artists that use NCS as an outlet to create memories, entertain and, inspire billions of persons all over the globe.
I love the year 2015 you put great songs for that year and mentioned all my favorite producers including Alan Walker, Lensko, Elektronomia. But by far you mentioned the most important game in my life Agario, everybody glances over that fact that the game made people’s childhoods and made ncs popular. That’s the only reason I ever got into house and ncs music was because of agario. That game means a lot to me and I’m glad you mentioned it!
btw its so impressive how much Billy managed to achieve ALONE with NCS. Like, he hired the first person in 2016?? Such a huge label alone??? Woah, this is crazy.

2017 was the year I discovered NCS with JJD - Future, which is still my favorite to this day, and it has so many of my other favorites like Campfire, Skyline, and Me&you.
