About TEDx, x = independently organized event In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

My particular experience is that communities and individuals who live in poverty often have special strengths; but it is not uncommon to see those strengths overlooked by child welfare workers, leading to tragic events that divide families. Concerned members of the public at large rarely know where to begin to help right injustices. Jamie Folsom has given some needed guidelines.

In my naga tribal culture, whenever foreigners do agriculture in our land, they pay tax to the indigenous land owners. I wonder how much did the US government paid tax to the native American.
