Not only he created and made Python popular; he also proposed a funding for "Computer Programming for Everybody" to DARPA. Undoubtedly, he is a living legend.
So no one remembers Dennis Ritchie, the guy who created the C language back in the early 1970s. The language which powers most of the operating systems, compilers (including python), low level package, backends etc. He should have been awarded the Nobel Price. But sadly he died on October 12, 2011.
@@ThunderAppeal in today's world the only thing that matters is getting the task done and python gets it done without throwing you in the hassle. Python is absolutely my favorite programming language and I already can code in C# and JS. No one cares about how hard to use a language is or how "complicated" it is to make an idiot feel better about themself, only the results matter
@@bluefire8061 'only thing that matters is getting the task done.' Thats the only thing that mattered ever you fucking clown. Python was made for lowest common denominator morons like you. There is plenty of python code debt out in the world which has been saved only by the massive compuational power of clustered machines, or what morons like you call 'cloud computing'.
I can understand that. I started with front end(HTML, CSS & JS)but decided I didn't really want to develop websites necessarily so decided to take the plunge into Python earlier in the year and haven't looked back since.
I love python for its community and documentation. You can learn a new python library in half an hour, whereas in C++ it could take up to a week of intensive research
i first heard of python while making mods for Civ 4. thought it was such an easy to understand language it almost didn’t feel like programming. i’m very glad to see it’s become more popular!
I know multiple languages, and seriously thinking python is different. Like I would prefer other languages over python if I had to build a application or something like that. But in the field of Artificial intelligence, data science and machine learning python is the best. Thank you sir, you have given boon to society.
@@jaisonsimon actually you can use c++ or java or now days any language directly from designer softwares.( Although if you want to learn the basics I recommend not using designing software because they do most of the task)
@@saulgoodman5662 No, with tensorflow and other libraries, machine learning is easier in python. Python code is shorter than C++. Although tensorflow is written in C++, python is better for machine learning or AI.
I never see a guy who aged over sixty but looks like just sixteen. His talking, his thinking ,his everything just incredible. So, undoubtedly python his love and great invention in his life. Salute and huge respect!
Python programming language is a programming language created by a great person (Guido Van Rossum) .. Extraordinary Thank you for your work. from irpangi Indonesia
@@paoloagyei4906 the auto captions are pretty good but not great. They don't have punctuation and often replace 'Python' with 'iPhone' and there are other errors as well.
Deaf people are going to wonder why he is talking about iphones so much, c'mon youtube. You could maybe write a better auto caption with python ;) Awesome video. Python is great, love this guy.
