The sheer amount of effort to justify every little piece of this diorama from a lore perspective just adds so much to this piece. Hope you do well as this is clearly made with a lot of love and genuine passion
Turkey's capital is Ankara, so seing Ankarra really made me laugh as I am from Turkey. I love how this story goes. Cannot wait for the new characters, stories and episodes. You are a huge inspiration as always!
I need to get my hands on translucent clay now. Those eggs turned out awesome! There is so much stuff in this video so that if I comment on everything I want to comment on, this will be veeeery long to read. I loved it, lets keep it at that
Yeah, never heard of translucent clay before, but now I NEED some. (and I don't even work with clay or build dioramas. 😕) Terrible shame about all the hard work on those dozens of eggs that got buried under the resin. 😢
Wow, what a wicked little model/diorama you've built here. So much drama, action and excitement crammed into such a tiny space that I can almost hear the sounds and see this scene animated in my head. While the model building is fantastic, it's the phenomenal storytelling adding to the lore/worldbuilding of Aegis that keeps me coming back for more. Thanks for sharing your inspiring process for making these little masterpieces. Keep on keeping on!!
i treat your videos like a podcast and listen to it well i work on my projects it is very nice. you have definetly inspired me with some stuff. Great work!
Keep up the good work Gamey Builds I just love the whole video and especially the lore and the whole world to have made and don’t stop and keep moving forward.
This is my third video in and I only have one thing that I think you should change.... nothing. ok 2 we need more but I'll wait! Thank you for you creativity!
Just found this channel and absolutely amazed. This is a huge undertaking and cant imagin how far it can go. Looking forward to the future of this project.
The unique missing thing I would say to the amazing story and characters is that the pilot would need some kind of glasses 🕶️ to fly fast enough and escape monsters hand 😂. Keep going with this content. 👌🔝
Not all Unders are blind, (they simply navigate well in the dark) only this particular racer is. As for the design, they are a mark of pride for Rai's family and match the color of their crest, similar to how logos and colors on racing cars today are not for the benefit of the drivers, but for the benefit of spectators and sponsors.
Sure, but racing stripes and logos on today’s race cars aren’t for the racers but for the spectators and supporters. Same goes for these cave racers! 🙃
@@gameyybuilds Ah got it, I was thrown by the 'ear sight' and 'blind races through the tunnels' lore of the people that visuals were still so important.
@@blackchamber9918 I had considered making the speeder just scraps of different colored pieces but then realized that with so much money behind the racing events, they would definitely be more spruced up. Thanks for your input!
Over the last few days, I’ve been listening to, and watching your videos on the dioramas link to the blight and your sci-fi world… I was wondering, are you considering making this a role-playing game for general community to play in?
I love the build, I love the world, but 2 things, why the racing stripes? They are blind, they can’t see the stripes, and why write words on the bike, again, they are blind and can’t read the words
also if they are all blind, who painted the craft, and who explained to them what colours are. how did hey explain what colour is? and how do they build complex machines with electronics?
Wow, this is another awesome build. The world that you created makes the builds stand out alot more, it's like there's a real connection between all of them and I enjoy them that much more. Your work is always really fun to watch, you really can make anything out of whatever you find and it can definitely be an inspiration. Great build once again. 👍
@@gameyybuilds you know, one of these days I'll get off my ass and try something. Lol. I really do look forward to your videos, you're truly very talented. 👍
Wow, This is amazing work! I just found your channel and can not wait to see what else you have in store! The lore is amazing and your video editing is really good! Keep up the good work.
Stumbled upon this channel a few days ago and I am now binge watching as many videos as I can fit into my day as possible! I am really pleased with The fusion of the scratch building AND story telling which gives A Massive amount of Depth to this channel. I am also a scale modeler, only I tend to stick to kits and then incorporate them into dioramas, focusing mainly on World War Two and other War history, but also a bit on civilian life in today's time with a few model cars I would love to have IRL, But I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I get a BIG boost from this channel in my own creative juices to bring me more purpose when I put things together. I think I would like to even add a bit of my own to your world if you are game Mr. Gameyy Builds. I certainly don't want to step on your toes, this is YOUR world after all, but I wouldn't attempt to do anything with the characters you have already created and provided back stories on.
I have no problems with other creators adding their own take on the world of Aegis, and in fact I've featured a concept artist on this channel who did some art based on her idea of the Unders. Of course, it wouldn't be "official" lore, but feel free to explore with your own ideas!
I was about to do a similar jet bike chase diorama with a GW Necromunda Arbites chasing an Escher down a pipe into an ambush. Your piece captures the feeling/drama I’m looking to create. I love the composition and lighting.
Idk how I missed this one! Amazing work, as always. A few questions though: if Rai won that race, the other racers are presumably behind her and are easy pickings for the hissat. Was she the only survivor of the race? Or did she pull a young anakin and start the race at a disadvantage only to beat the odds at the last leg of the race? Or am I reading too much into this?
I didn’t mention that this is a branching track, so there are multiple paths. The shortest route went through Hissat territory, and only Rai was up for the challenge!
@@gameyybuilds idk if you just thought of that to answer my questions but that seemingly small detail tells a lot about Rai! She must be competitive, brave, maybe a little reckless, in tune with nature, force sensitive (jk)
@@gameyybuilds aw man, must be hard to decide what stays and what goes. you probably already do something like this but it might be cool if you added stuff that doesn’t make the final cut to your patreon page.
@@ramsilva Yep, I do short bonus videos from time to time for Patrons, and sometimes it’s from stuff that doesn’t make the final video. I’m working on another bonus video about the language, too, just for Patrons.
Dude I was hooked to your world building before, but making a goddamn language from scratch?? That takes it up a notch! It's something I always love to see in movies and games, NieR's chaos language is still one of the most fascinating things about that game series. I loved your stuff before, but man you always 1up yourself
an amazing presentation! though i do feel it needs some head protection for the pilot (roll bars or something like that) it's not hard to imagine a pilot of a craft getting smeared along the top of a cave in what would be a great R-rated version of pod racing. thinking about the lore that the craft have special noise makers, i don't think they would need that as whatever mechanical noise they already make may be enough echo to do the job, though i'm sure there would be tuning of the craft's engine, exhaust and drive blades. all of the noise would make racing by sound near other craft VERY interesting, trying to pick out the sounds you recognize (from your own craft mostly, but possibly common rivals) from the din of noise and echo.
Super feedback! I always try to consider all the angles when working out the lore of these things, but always miss some silly detail (like head protection!).
@gameyy builds that was my first thought seeing it in such a small tunnel! at the same time, it could be that such bars may make it hard to hear the caves? I'm no expert on how exactly sound travels but i could easily imagine poorly designed head protection causing large blind spots. it may also be that at the speeds they move such a cage would either be meaningless or excessively heavy. there is also always the option to just say "it's a sifi motorcycle/ATV racing underground and it makes as much sense as pod racers did" or "rule of cool" it's not like fiction always has to be realistic after all! this world reminds me of a game called Kenshi, i can easily imagine a mod to bring this world alive in that game! not that i would ever have the talent to do such a thing. keep up the amazing work, i love the stories so much, even with the general sad/grim tone they tend to have i seem to feel happier for the short glimpse i get of the world.
You are creating something rather original and refreshing, this story has a big potential. I guess you should start thinking about writing a book at this point man
