He didn't make a deal with the Devil. A dark ages wizard summoned the devil and when he was about to die a blacksmith came running to help and threw a horseshoe at the Devil, and chipped his tooth. In appreciation the wizard fashioned the tooth into a guitar pick, and gave it to the blacksmith who used to win the heart of his fair lady. After the blacksmith died the pick was lost in his belongings, but turned up the day Robert Johnson found it! Which is how he created the blues and rock N roll... He also let Ralph Macchio borrow it in the movie Crossroads. A movie written by none other than Robert Johnson... I found this out from a guy that worked in a guitar shop who had a very strong resemblance to Ben Stiller...

He definitely sold his soul. There has been legends about other musicians doing it too.

There are now three pictures of him. His sister released one when Brother Robert came out a couple of years ago

Cool to hear more on the story than bits and pieces I’ve heard here and there. Those AI images are hilarious. Wonder what actually happened with Robert, and how he actually became an expert. I will say in a few months from RU-vid I became decent at playing and could start doing barre chords and make nice unique tunes. Now if he had an expert to play 6 months with, I could see him becoming an expert, I think knowing more on the life of that expert could reveal more about Robert Johnson. The 27 club is kinda a unique age and maybe pure coincidence, but when you look at what some of these artists did who seemed ahead of their time, imagine if Hendrix lived to 80, rock music would have never been the same. It does seem kinda of suspicious. I also want to say thanks for you tutorials, especially some of the old ones from your starting days 8-10yrs ago, they are really neat for a lot of nostalgic pop, and grunge songs from my childhood. Kesha, Avicii, Staind, etc. Really neat to have nice concise tutorials for such a nostalgic time of my life to play and reflect on. Keep doing your thing!!!

Ha! Ohhh man! When you starting naming those old tutorials, wow, I realized how long you’ve been watching me. Thank you so much for giving me some attention :) I really appreciate it! Yeah I agree, who knows what would have happened if these legends would have lived til 80. Would they have been as legendary? I often think about that. I guess we will never know. Thanks again for watching my videos my friend! And keep rockin! More on the way
