I never heard of these pilgramages before until I seen one on RU-vid in 2019 while I was at home recovering from cancer treatments. It was about the Camino Frances. I was intrigued, so I decided I wanted to do this 800km pilgrimage, which hopefully I can accomplish within the next year. On Ivars Camino forum which helps prepare you for your camino hike someone mentioned this pilgrimage and there desire to walk it. I live in Canada and my grandfather immigrated from Sweden in the 1920's or 1930's and his sister stayed in Sweden. Having never been to Sweden, I now have a keen desire to walk this route now and visit my relatives in Sweden that I have only met once while they were vacationing in Canada about 40 years ago. Being 64 years old I feel the time is right and this video was very informative.
Greetings from one of the pals at Ivars forum 😎 I myself am living in Sweden and are tempted to try S:t Olavsleden some day. But after my Camino Frances it will be hopefully the Primitivo this year in may and the Via de la Plata the year after ... if all goes according to plan.
Merci beaucoup c'est superbe. thank you very much for this wonderful sharing, i was supposed to come this summer but unfortunately I couldn't. I Hope with all my heart to be able to come in 2024. Thank you again for this nice report, wo makes us travel by proxy.😉👍
Wonderful and thank you! I will hike this way. I have done the Pilgrimsleden-Oslo to Trondheim in Spring of 2017 and loved it. Kerry in Minneapolis, MN USA
