@@simpleshot I really like the custom!! I shoot pinch grip. That’s why I love my simple shots! So the custom has the scout shape I like. That would be so awesome to have a beautiful wooden scout!!! Good luck everyone!
I absolutely love Simple Shot! They are the reason why I am enjoying shooting with my husband. The wrist rocket he used to shoot I wasn’t able to control and manage to shoot. I am able to actually have fun with and challenge him now! We have a great time! Also, this next year will be my husband’s fiftieth birthday and I can’t think of a more memorable awesome gift than this for him! He’s a “rough around the edges” kind of guy but I do confirm that if he won this that there will be some shedding of some tears.
Nathan, I'd like to trade a kidney for that Osage frame 😂 It's divine! The old Flippin Out logo is a beautiful touch. Incredible story behind the Axiom, man, and what a blessing you are to the slingshot community and it was a pleasure to have shook your hand at ECST. LEGEND!
Recently jus got into slingshots. But i am having a blast learning and i am slowly getting better. The slingshot im starting with is the ocularis in orange.
Excellent!! Thanks Nathan, I have many of your slingshots and have given away more!! My favorite is my green Scout pro named Killer... YES it has hahaha!
I absolutely agree about the looks being important. Both the look and the feel help in making the slingshot become a part of the shooter. (I have a couple of Axiom Champs, and an Axiom Ocularis Pro.)
I watched some of the videos on your other channel. Flippinout Slingshots. There's one video of a tournament in Blue Skeens village. Some of the ECST 13 Years ago. One of a conference about the future of slingshot shooting with Blue Skeen and Garry Flatband. Those videos are only 12 - 13 years old yet they look like they are from another time altogether.
Great video! I love the background information. When I was growing up I used to spend hours looking at all the handmade slingshots on flippinout, dreaming of the day I would one day hopefully be able to afford my own. When that day finally came, I reached out since they were no longer shown on the site, and was told Mr. Masters had stopped making them 😩. Regardless, I slowly built up a collection and have every polymer slingshot and a few metal ones that simpleshot has offered. I have slingshots from many other makers, many of which I adore, but I always come back to simpleshot. In my opinion no one has done more for the industry, and cares as much about what they produce as they do about the user experience. An easy recommendation for people who ask me what their first slingshot should be. Affordable quality that’s built to last. Thank you simpleshot.
Love the versatility of my ocularis. I change up my band orientation quite often, depending on situation. Simple and fast. Going from loops to flats is like butter
They are beautiful not just a slingshot but a work of art. I have made many of treefork slingermcbobs and use surgical tubing. I am going to get me sum of them flat bands and tryem out. Thanks for the educational vidjo.
Very cool talent! Would love you to put together a step by step video guide on crafting a custom metal slingshot wirh clips sometime. You explain things well and even an idiot like me can generally follow along.
Years ago when I was looking at getting some of my first slingshots (after getting the pink Scout XT) I heavily debated between an Axiom and a Maxim. Ultimately I chose the Maxim (still one of my absolute favorite designs because of the handle locks into my hands), but I have always enjoyed the Axiom as well. I'm looking forward to the newest iteration of it.
Awesome video, I could listen to you talk for hours! Truly enjoyed the bit of history about these. Looking forward to getting my hands on one, and it would be an honor to be lucky enough to win one of those beautiful handmade slings, may the sling gods be in my favor. You’re a master builder, thank you for sharing your talent with the world.
I had a really bad back injury where I was semi paralyzed. SimpleShot saved my sanity. If it wasn’t for my slingshot, I’m not sure what would have come of me. My soul is beyond grateful, thankful, and appreciative! I’m not an emotional person. However if I win one of “THESE” I will shed many tears.
