I worked for a guy that had a syncro 4020 with a loader on it. That was a great transmission for a loader tractor in the day. 3rd forward and backward, and 5th forward and backward
I grew up running a 4430 synchro 4430 quad and a 4320 the 4430 synchro pulled a 516 deere the 4330 pulled a 616 and the 4430 quad was a beast huge cast weights and the tires full of calcium. When grandma bought the Steiger bearcat 225 i was a 10 year old BTO . Figured out we are about the same age you’re up north and im down south were in wheat and cattle country they plant some corn but down here it gets high nitrates some milo and beans but mainly wheat. Give me a call sometime and we can talk southern tractors vs the Yankee tractors lol
I love the story. Keep asking questions to the older generations. We can learn a lot from them. 30000 hours. Did he have to rebuild the engine a couple of times?
