@@fbi8857 but it wasn't alive tho like at all and it can't feel emotions it was created to be destroyed that's how things are humans are born just to die machines are created just to be destroyed
the entire mission name was Cassini-Huygens, without the Huygens spacecraft we wouldn't know as much as we do now about Saturn's moon Titan. The entire mission was mind blowing with Huygens being the icing on the cake 🍰
I remember watching the live stream of mission control during confirmation. Watching the signal disappear was so poignant. I hope I get to live long enough to witness a mission to Enceladus.
It's even better when you know the full story. On the day they took that photo, they asked the world to reflect on their place in the universe, to marvel at life on Earth, and, at the time the pictures were taken, to look up and smile in celebration
to make you cry more, theres two probes named voyager 1 and voyager 2 that are leaving our solar system in an attempt for them to come into contact with any alien life. theyre far past neptune and pluto, but havent even made it halfway to the oort cloud which is considered the end of our solar system, and they were launched in the 70s. the batteries have already just about run out by now so if they ever pass by life in a couple hundred thousand years, itll be powerless and humanity wouldve long forgotten their existence, and the only thing for aliens to find the origins of the probes is a gold record on each. one side shows where to find earth, relative to nearby stars and the black hole at the center of our galaxy, and the other side has grooves on the record, which when played will have 'hello' (and similar variations) in many different languages. although to be fair, by the time any extraterrestrial life finds either of the records, the languages wouldve changed heavily and become unrecognizable to any current languages
As we all should. They are the brave souls sent into our cosmic background to help us learn. Forever working tirelessly for the purposes they were designed for. They are the examples of the peak of our capabilities as a species, and they carry it in spades. May the brave machinery we send and sacrifice in space forever live in peace. For they are the ones that guide our civilization forward.
There was a show by PBS’s(?) NOVA series about an hour long telling the story of this satellite. When they finally lost signal most people in the room were crying
@@Saharan-_ I felt every word you said deep to my bone. The music and commentary plays a role too. To me the Casini felt like an innocent, kind hearted soul who did everything for you till it's last breath and then left quietly. Space in general makes me emotional. It's so vast, empty, yet filled with mind boggling phenomena. Truly magical.
Cassini is our friend, it so sad to see it die, some people would say that it just a satellite, but Cassini brought us some beautiful pictures and we will remember it. Forever and ever... RIP Cassini ⚰️🥀
@@Ikernuer bro humans evolved to feel sorry for everything thats not pray dogs cats and robots plus not everyone has a playstation and there not robots robots are ai or in basic terms fricken fack minds playstations are programed to say or do thingd but robots have a mid of there own
Not really, the temperatures caused by the speed Cassini would be falling into Saturn would be hot enough to melt Tungsten, the metal with the highest temperature resistance. But R.I.P. Cassini.
With the music, this hit a 100x harder Cassini really had made a mark in humanity, I believe the satellite has changed the perspective of space forever ❤
The sad music in the background and the sad tone of this story make tears come to everyone’s eyes Cassini served a great purpose, to help us learn about the beautiful Saturn and its rings and icy moons It shall forever be remembered in everyone’s hearts (as long as they knew it existed) *R I P Cassini*
I feel the same thing as you when i see sky at night. It feels like there is nothing but still feels like everything is there. Feels like I’ve been there in dark universe, travelling place to place. I can feel.
You have. Every atom in ur body is made up from atoms as old as the big bang. With a miracle stroke up luck they eventually formed you... enjoy every minute of this current life for once its over its on to the next miracle stroke of luck possibly billions of years from now :)
Rest In Peace Cassini I Love You So Much Because You Giving All People And Knowledge About Saturn And His Moon Thank You For Cassini I Love You So Much
My grandpa worked on Cassini He died from tuberculosis before I was born I've seen a lot of photos of him doing what he loved the most I wish I was able to talk to him. RIP Cassini and gramps.
saturn doesnt have a solid surface, at least not until very deep into the planet. other than that its liquid metal that melts under intense pressure and heat, and then the gas atmosphere which takes up most of the planet, making it lighter than water
*painting nail cutely*💅 yah we totally not caring about this chunk of metal who would, we only like about make up the color pink phone and our lovely dovey dress ........🙄💅 *chew gum cutely*🥺💗🌸🍓😜💅🥺🥺😭😭😭😭😭😭😭( this is so sad bro I about to cry but I stop seeing your comment)
@@SahilKhan-ws5hb it entered Saturn’s atmosphere meaning it crashed into Saturn. They crashed it into Saturn to protect Saturn’s moons because a probe hitting the moons is more risky and dangerous than it hitting Saturn which is the second biggest planet in our solar system.
Rest in peace little boy.😭😭 love you so much that you took the picture of the planet Saturn and earth. I have been waving at you. Your picture's were amazing. You have fell into Saturn's atmosphere and then after that you disintegrated. We could see Saturn's rings while you were still disintegrating. We loved you so much😭😭😭
Imagine in the future and someone makes it to saturn they will see a random satellite and say “wtf is this?” If only they knew, they are observing a legend, RIP Cassini❤️
Since Saturn is a gas giant, that person will definitely go through Saturn's atmosphere but won't see poor Cassini as it's already ripped into pieces by the planet's strong gravitational force, definitely would happen to the person so there's no chance we could go back time and see the satellite again. Rest in peace Cassini 🤧😭😔
