Veebo is a rapper who grew up on the eastside of long beach. Hes been in the rap game for a while and I genuinely enjoy his music. Check out VBO's music here! / @veebo1200 Follow me on Instagram!! www.instagram....
I haven’t watched this. But a lot of people been telling me there is some false info in it. I never danced. I was never in a church group home either. U could’ve reached out to me for a story I would’ve gave u accurate info. I usually don’t reply to people speaking on me, but I just want to clarify for my listeners. I appreciate the mention but just want to get the facts straight.
I reached out brotha but I must have reached out to the wrong Instagram account or something cause I never got a reply. I didn't mention you danced in this video. My apologies about getting some info wrong but I was just going off the interviews, thanks for acknowledging the video though big homie!
And I don’t resent my older bro. I love that guy like a father figure. I grew up in a church that was started by 2 brothers from rival Mexican gang “Longo” The 2 brothers started the church and named it “Cambodian Baptist Church” and brought in troubled Cambodian youth mostly from the streets in. I was a kid maybe from age 5-11 going to that church with members from every Asian set in LB. After feeling too much pressure to be “perfect and godly” and feeling out of place, and not having guidance from my parents, and my brother was missing, that’s when I started becoming involved with the streets because it was right outside my door. Tbh, I’m not involved anymore something I’m proud to say. I just want to take care of my family now. It’s always gon be a part of who I am though and I won’t shy away from it. But, for people watching and reading, there’s more to me as a person than my history in the Eastside.
i always said if you make it out the evil side, you can make it anywhere. Your story is amazing and thank you for doin you. i stayed on the other side, on gundry and I remember G1 from the A used to stay on the corner and would always ask me wheres my big brother at when i was so little. I do remember though walkin through the alley and seein parties there too cuz i remember the gate with the little bamboo shade on it lol. but stay up bro, mad love.
@Archer Cillian how can you stick up for people you never met???i never heard of you on 12th street.so your giving your opinion on another man past??you haven't walked in his shoes... your just assuming..so the words you say, really don't even hold any weight. You're trying to give your opinion on VBO Upbringing, but you're on the outside looking in.. which means you know nothing
@Archer Cillian it makes no since for myself to debate with a person that hasn't grew up in our area.an now your getting your teaching from soft white videos.and is trying to diagnose VBO upbringing...lol like i said before... "you are on the outside looking in, which means you know nothing"✌️.. Good day
Just a quicc history lesson, as one of the 1st members from 12th ST. I can honestly say it started as a clique. As we grew everyone went to ABZ, SUIS, EF, or something else but we always kept it 12st! #1200 FOREVER & A DAY AND HE WAS THE 1st TO BRING NIPSEY TO THE HOOD BEFORE HE BLEW UP
“generational curse” was written and put out after his little bro/ homie (haven’t fully confirmed) died in a gang related shooting in 2020 of dec.. One of his most underrated tracc and u can feel him and his pain thru the lyrics. It was a tribute RIP Arthur Touch 🕊
I hope that dude still working in that church he talking about. Because that church helps a lot of Asian gang members back in the 80s and been helping Cambodian since 1979 the first time we get to America. Much love and respect to that church. They bring a lot of TRG and SEA to a lot of camping all over California.... Dam I miss those days. I forgot that white man name working in that church. If everybody still remember his name let me know. That whiye man know every story about every Asian gang in LBC. If someone could interview him. It will be a very good interview. Because that white man knew a lot of story that go down in Long Beach.
"White Boy" Dave. Hes working for the ILWU now. The other Real Assistant Pastor Dave Board fella from Iowa he's the true man though, he's heading the Baptist Church in Cambodia.
@@posseruthless7096 Filipinos are of Asian descent how the fucc else would they have gotten there to an island? You think people just magically appeared on islands?
always thought Vbo had something. he was young and had an old school feel to him. on some real authentic hip hop vibes mixed with the hood life. he was better than Stupid Young but his sound just didnt resonate with his generation. they were more into the ratchet style of music at the time. some asian rappers tried to copy the Dj Mustard sound but failed at it. at least Vbo was unique. he can probably come back but he'll have to be even more gangsta and ignorant to stay above the new generation. sounds like hes elevated past that mind state tho. he def made his mark in the underground asian hip hop scene. better than nothing.
Yeah the neighborhood I grew up in in Columbus Ohio was predominantly black but we did have a lot of Vietnamese, Cambodians, and people from Laos they were called the boat people.
Check this out, I’m personally an original member of Suicidal, well before it ever turned Crips. I’m a white dude who grew up in LB. 12th and Locust Ave. back when suicidal tendencies was real spreading through LA, Venice Suicidal, Long Beach suicidal (SOS used to do security at fender’s ballroom before it closed way back before they were even SOS which is why a chapter of SOS is now “suicidal “ and it was also before they turned GC because it was actually East Coast that put them onto the C car but that’s a whole different story . It closed because of all the fights and violence. We used to call it fenders brawl room) the Suicidal gang was on some “we accept anyone with the business “ and then there were other gangs like LMP (La Mirada Punks/still around today) FFF (Fight for Freedom/defunct) WSC (West Side Crazies/ they turned Varrio WSCx3) BPO (Burbank Punk Organization/defunct) Lakewood FFF (turned south side Lakewood/chivas x3 or arta x3) anyway, all these gangs spawned off the Punk Gangsters back in the 80s. And suicidal used to fight some like LMP because they’re on some whites only (even though they still do work for CV3 in Compton, but Frank “the shanks “ dad was an older vato from there and Frank started LMP AND wrote a book about it, where he wrote about fighting us with the Samoan and Asians back in the day it’s called discos out murders in and shout out to Frank- BROTHER WE LIVED IT AND GREW!) anyway it’s very interesting to watch these videos. Youngsters don’t know how certain place’s and groups actually attained their name’s. I was personally there and watched it happen. Then quietly became a ghost. Too many dead for me to stay. Anyway… WERE SUI WERE SUI WERE SUI SUICIDAAAAAL!!! We are family/suicidal tendencies… look THAT shit up on RU-vid you’ll see the werewolf in the video 💪🐺
@@posseruthless7096 actually, I’M from the “rocker’s “ the Crips took their name from US, because we were cool as shit with them. Also, we might be “rocker’s “, but In my era, if you would have laughed at me for my lifestyle, “lol” I would have burned your house down with everything and everyone inside and my heartbeat wouldn’t even go up. Sort of feel like doing that now. If I knew you or where you were, I just might. Instead of explaining it.
i grew up during the 80s-90s in LA and heard about EFCC being a kick back/party crew when they started. it was told to me as Exotic Foreign Creation Coterie. i remembered it because it was the first and only gang name i heard with four initials and the first time i heard the word coterie. heard they had all sorts of fine ass asian girls.
loved watching VBO interviews also Sneezy Tweet, would like to see a video on him as well, I believe he did a track with Nipsey before he got big, too bad he left the game though cause he got some amazing talent
Its all good bro sometimes we make mistakes by accident Im sure you tried the best you can to provide info for your viewers based off your research keep pushing your videos now you know what you can improve on for the next videos you upload
Awesome work as always, Sergio. On another note, still patiently waiting on that Van Nuys Asian Boyz special, you know the ones responsible for the Summer Madness. Hands down, that Van Nuys ABZ set was a different breed of killers.
Van Nuys ABZ! Is originally Valerio ABZ, ABS (Asian Boys Style), San Fernando ABZ, and San Gabriel ABZ......Today, Van Nuys ABZ is K-Town's Big Bad ABZ and O.C. ABZ.
@@lakanron640 You're right Big homie. Sergio needs to hurry up (jk, takes your time Sergio) and do a special on how these different affiliates linked up to become one of the most notorious asian gangs in the United States. Pretty interesting if you ask me because this is unheard of in the gang land culture.
I respect Veebo from EFCC for not finger dissing his opps in his music videos. I think he's even better than Stupid Young, lyrically and as a responsible rapper for the youth. Even Sneezy Tweet from Suicidal Town Crip never dissed his opps either, even though both his older brothers is from the rival gang TRG!
Do a video on Original Loko Boyz. Seattle/Tacoma Asian Gang. There somewhat connect with Oriental Lazy Boyz from Los Angela’s which is another Asian gang! And they also got another gang in Chicago Outlaw Loko Bloodz, Asian gang and I think there somewhat tide in too. OLBz. Asian Blood Gang
you should edit this video since vbo gave you the facts. no reason you should say he dont like his brother when thats not true. just sayin you getting views/money OFF THIS DUDES STORY, HIS LIFE, and the least you could do is get it right. and remember theres a lot of you that do these hood topics now. the first ones like street gangs really did their research and went out to hoods.
Sergio, are you aware that you dissed Sneezys hood when you mentioned tattooing his "shit" in reference to the S tattoo on homeboys' head? One of his homies might feel a certain way if they ever see you, FYI. Just so you know, don't kill the messenger.
Bro luv ur page & content I’m a tag banger we read the walls for beef we see blasting each other gang wars but we were taggers witch we switch to banging a lot of our crew got locked up & killed we run from Bakersfield Ca gang
Hi mate light up the Kush and Green Gelato get high as a kite 💨💨💨💨💨🚀🚀🛸 and enjoy Ur pod cast show. Ur channel is dope and very interesting to watch. 👍🏻👍🏻👊🏻✌🏻🙈🙊🙉☠️
Yo fam im diggin your channel .Im a former asian G from Australia.Part of the viet group. The gangster life style is so different yet similar in so many ways when it comes to the reasons why we hit the streets and choose our brothers over our blood family at the time only to turn full circle and realise nothing is stronger and more loyal than blood .Look up Cabramatta gangs would like to see what you think
