I have a feeling that some of the Darkins like Aatrox or Rhaast (and also Varus) would be confused on how they can only bend blood,probably expecting them to entirely bend flesh and bones because you know,kinda similar to that of Varus' or Darkin Corruption.

@@infinitedark6158 this is true. However vlad's biggest weakness is actually getting to lategame. For many reasons (unfavorable rework to cdr, massive grievous wounds buffs, no mythic having a good build path for him, and the game being very early game focused) vlad is simply outclassed by most other mids.

i so wish he would have a visual update. here we have this ancient prince who sacrificed his whole kingdom to ancient, mad gods for power and longevity. surviving past even their fall to become a mystery of ever mighty noxus, against whom enemies must even fear their very own flesh. and then you get in game and you just hear "my cup is half empty", "such trickling progresss", "go ahead, be negative, you'll be just my type" all the while hes flapping around his weird knife sleeves and ice cream hair do. oh and theres blood lord vlad
He wasn't nice, he's literally using the same tactics used in recruiting cult members. He chose the most vulnerable one out of the orphans and tried to show sympathy and all that mental stuff. On 10:05 cynn asked if the girl was harmed and Vladimir asked back if "she was fine all those years ago" implying that he did the same thing to Cynn, who is now working for him to this day.
Not gonna lie, the whole “immortal body with a mortal mind” made me think a lot of season 9 of doctor who with the character Ashildir/Me, who has a very similar story.
Aatrox: "Who is that?" Rhaast + Varus: "Oh, that's Vladimir, we took him last week" Aatrox: "And what is he doing with those followers?" Rhaast + Varus: "We purposely trained him in hemomancy, as a joke"
Meanwhile, in game, all his quotes are puns about blood. I'm begging for Riot to rework his voicelines. He's one of the most complex and interesting characters in the Runeterran Universe. What a waste of his potential to make him a walking pun in the game!!!

I wish LeBlanc would reach out to Veigar. They know each other exist and they’re such strong mages who fear Mordekaiser... he seems like someone LeBlanc would either want to recruit or take out and it would give him some more action in the lore. Also I wish they would reach out to Xerath. Cass just released him and returned to Noxus like nothing, and Xer is easily stronger than the rest of them... and maybe they could get this Shurima story going, like Xerath and Renekton were released and Azir resurrected and then what... nothing.

MMMMWWWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWMWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA!" _everyone who knows Veigar jumps for cover because who knows who that Smite is going to hit. all the villains, all the heroes, all of them duck for cover. everyone who knows someone who knows Veigar see's those people jumping for cover and after a moment, they jump for cover too because those people know SOMETHING, so they aren't ducking for cover for the hell of it. this continues until everyone on the battlefield has ducked for cover. yes, even Draven._ Then... nothing. No one gets smited. No one gets smote. The smiting hits nothing - no Hero, no Villain, no random person on the battlefield. Not even the rampaging cow who can't remember if it was Alistair or Skaarl who's the father of her baby. Everyone looks around, uncertain of what is happening. (meanwhile, somewhere outside of Bandle City... Teemo gets hit with a blast of EEEEEVVVVVIIILLLL from out of nowhere, and 10 million humans in another dimension cheer for no apparent reason)
Vladimir's lore really makes him possibly my *favourite* character in the Runeterra canon, just because of how much of a cryptid he is. I find him so captivating and each new tidbit of lore we get on him makes me sink deeper into fanboy territory lmao I really wish Riot would spend the time and money to update his appearance in League itself though, he's such a joke in League compared to what his lore makes him out to be.
I have a bit of a theory, that might be fun (But I'm probably missing facts) Since Vlad killed his master - The Darkin - And you had Varus looking for his final sibling only for them to be missing, what if Vlad obsorbed the final hinted Darkin and we're possibly going to get a character update for Vlad? Again, I know the final Darkin was hinted as the 'sister' and I'm not sure if Vlad's master was, but if it is a build up to a rework to Vlad... Just maybe
@@josefplacek4200 True, I just meant in terms of maybe a visual update, (Not to bring up he who should be named in reworks) but Rhyze is a bit of a meme with his changes until they sort of decided on a way to nail his purpose down, and again you have Varus who fundamentally didn't change, just what he was about did, so I just imagined that Vlad might have similar potential room to add along that story, with 500 years, the odds are there
@@megasingularity9305 they wouldn't rework/revamp a champ only for the sake of their lore though. And with current Vlad kit and presence as a champion card in Legends of Runeterra it will take another 10 seasons before Riot will touch him for whatever reason. So it's highly unlikely.
@@nudgeone7927 True they wouldn't rework his kit/character, but what I'm suggesting is more the fact he has 500 years of free lore space, there's a missing Darkin and basically he ate on (；^ω^） Less of a rework and more of a re-establishment, I mean we're currently seeing it with Seraphine, though her case was because of mistakes, in Vlads case I'd love to see the expansion since he's got the set-up for so much more in the lore :)
I would love if Vlad got a visual update and a new voice over. I do not play him but he is such a cool champion with beautiful lore, I could vividly imagine the story that Necrit narrated.

I hope there could be a scene that he turns younger again by a magic and become more powerful. This guy literally has a potential of fighting viego/swain. In short, we need a rework
Funny because it's acually how brain works. Humans (and i think from Runeterra too) have limited memory and after new memory is created old one usually get more washed up untill it's completly forgotten. In case of brain that is thousands of years old, well it gets even more horrible because it will deteriorate and you will forget faster.
Necrit, idk if you will see my comment, but there's something that I think Riot left behind and forgot about it, and it was about Leblanc kidnapping J4, pretending to be him and infiltrating Demacia. This is very old and it was back in the day when they released a comic where J4 and pre-rework Swain fought, and on Swain's armor reflection , you could see Leblanc instead of J4.
man thought this story was going to be some dark shit about vlad killing a orphan but na it was a melancholic story about a immortal man listening to a orphans story to gather tears so he can finish a painting that helps his dying mind

A vampire with Alzheimer's, well then, that's one way of making them interesting. Now if only in game Vladimir reflected this Vlad because I really like this sad forgetful vampire who helps troubled orphansm
I really like his new character he has one of the best lore in the game despite how short it currently is. The last story already showed the whole multiple history and identities thing, and this one continues to show that he isn't just some evil sorcer who love blood. He is likely evil in some ways (like asking for blood sacrifice) but he also helped stop Mordekaiser and takes care of orphan being pretty good to the girl in that story. In fact with the whole multiple identity he could likely be place everywhere on the alignment chart depending on the time. I hope they do more with his character(s), an anthology with stories from all over the world showing big events and Vladimir many personalities over the eons would be fantastic.
i loveeeee this LeBlanc was the first champ i ever played back in 2010 and iv loved her ever since and i love that the black rose story is getting bigger black rose and the blood moon story lines are my favorite

I like how every country has somewhat of a god, extremly powerfull being or artifact. For example: Noxus has the black rose and mordekaiser and darkins Shurima has the sun disk gods Demacia has kayle and morgana Bilgewater has nagakeburos or however is that named Shadow Isles has the ruined king Ionia has ryze, shen and the tree of life Frejlord has the demi gods and the 3 sisters along with "she who wanders" and other things similar to those Mount targon has literally the creator of the universe Piltover and Zaun have the hex crystals
vlad is my favorite champ. Im always glad to see his lore fleshed out. and its awesome to see he has some depth to him besides just being bland vampire man
