The Story of William Li - Founder of NIO 

He is a sweet person. I was the board member of Bitauto from 2006 to 2010, and quit just before the IPO. I went to the mountain climbing with him one time and saw how he controlled his breath and steps. Well disciplined person.

I've had the privilege of working with William and I can attest to his humbleness and reserved demeanor. He is VERY observant and you can tell there is a great deal of thought before he speaks. As NIO and William rise to fame in the global stage its important to remember he is still just a person like anyone else.

When I first found this company, I loved the fact that Wiliam started Nio with their flagship super EV car Ep9 which I really want to drive one day as a motorsports enthusiast. And that is my reason why I am investing on this company. He knows what does it mean by being an owner of an automobile company. Go Wiliam!

I'm a tesla owner and I've been indifferent about NIO since I learned about them, but now I have tons of respect for William, he is so down to earth.

I very recently got into this stock. This story is so inspirational. Classic Rags to Riches story. I think this CEO and NIO (the pictures of their cars look amazing) are the real deal. Only own 250 shares, but will buy more. They have a growth opportunity in the electric vehicle industry. This guy has the visionary qualities that Steve Jobs had. The AI capabilities look great.

This was the best documentary that I have seen lately about a great visionary and humble leader. I am so impressed and like someone mentioned , I am very proud to have some ownership in this company. There are so many ideas that EV companies can implement here in USA based on what he and his company have accomplished in China.

I really liked William Li. His leadership and he works really hard to change the EV world. I love NIO.

I should've brought some shares when it was 2 dollar. :-( I thought it is another ponzi scheme like Leshi. I walked pass wall street on the day NIO was listed. They displayed like 3 cars in front of the exchange building. I was actually laughing at those toy like cars. Did not expect they made it this far and their cars are actually not bad especially the Battery as Service concept. Very inspiring story.

When I was googling online for pictures of the new porsche taycan last year in December I stumbled upon pictures of the nio supercar and thought what was such a dope company's stock doing at less than 2 dollars a share. I also opened my investment account at that time and has been in during the brief boom in December and then back in NIO for most of the time after the Anhui government injected cash into the company. Best investing decision I have made easily in my less than a year history Edit: the car is the NIO EP9

The roots lie in his childhood upbringing and his hardwork. Also the NIO app has the roots in William understanding the power of the App in his startup BitApp. It seems like NIO is in the hands of good leadership.

Interesting..i had an opportunity to buy some stocks of Nio a couple of months back while they were valued under $6. Unfortunately I didn't get to..now, as of this date of writing, it is valued over $21! This company has a lot of potential.

Nio is my favorite stock.

His Battery Swap tech is incredible and has allowed Apartment owners to buy his cars. That's a HUGE problem here in the USA, where an apartment owner feels that he can't buy a Tesla because he doesn't want to wait an hour for the car to charge up. Reality is that most people would be just fine Supercharging for 10 to 15 min, considering that most people only drive 30 to 40 miles per day. I'll bet that most people buy a NIO THINKING they're going to constantly use the swap tech, only to find that Supercharging is just fine for them. However, HAVING the swap tech available removes any doubt in their mind for the "What if" scenario where they want to drive long distances.

NIO, LI AUTO, in China, Lucy, Workhorse, in the USA, and Hyleiion and others in England, will be the real competition for Tesla, although Tesla, the I-phone of evs, is, and it will be the champion for years to come.

If they are forced to make choices to be fully confident in their venture and producing value for their investors... In short, the mentality of no real estate ownership is "THERE IS NO PLAN B..."

Proud share holder of both Nio and Tesla. Since you asked... Any billionaire who doesn't own some real estate now will in the future. It only makes sense and as far as being an attack vector, well, live in a reasonable home. And if the attackers can't understand the different concerns a billionaire has when it comes to housing (security) then the issue is with the attackers, not the billionaire. Also, any billionaire worth the title should own property that can produce both water and food and medicinal crops and other resources such as minerals and timber. I don't think either the billionaire or attacker needs an explanation of why. Productive real estate is a wise investment for any person regardless of financial wealth. A show-off trophy home, not so much most of the time.
