@@deshaunmeans81Your comment is very strange. "You might've been too tuned into the music instead of the words he was saying" How can people "tune into" what he's saying when the music/sound effects are loud to the point where it's the primary thing you hear? It may have been fine to you, but this is not only the most liked comment on the video, but the creator also agreed, so ultimately you're in the wrong 🤷♂️
Honourary mention to my boi Zefraath, while not a god in truth he's still level 11 and had 50 more attack to defeat Tierra. Also, Mariamne from the dracoslayer storyline bears a resemblance to Sophia/Tierra which is interesting considering the 2 universes are connected.
Actually, Sophia and Avida arent that hard to summon. Sophia says "...ritual, fusion, synchro and xyz from ANYWHERE on the field..." meaning you can banish your opponents monsters, and Avida says "...on the field, and/or the GYs" meaning, again, you can use your opponents cards to summon it.
back when snake eyes flamberge dragon added to edopro, im using flamberge eff to put a ritual mons from gy to the field. but, i cant ss sophia. i dont know if there bug or i misunderstand smth but im sure sophia require 4 different kind of mons (fusion/xyz/synchro/ritual) anywhere on the field for her ss
well, to be fair, not that many decks use more than 2 of ritual/fusion/synchro/xyz, and nowadays link spam is also not that common. they are still difficult to summon. but oh boy, are they worth it. funnily enought, the hardest one to summon is a ctually the worst one, tierra
My theory is that , like tierra and avida, they are not natural. Someone or something created it. In qliforth scout and qliforth monolit the texts reffer both as tierra and sofia as programs. And qli even says something in giverish that decoded says something along the lines of “we have challenged god and now he is coming for us “ . One pf two options, either tierra was created, or an ancient advanced civilization made something from the dormant body of tierra, it being the infernoids. When they are almost defeated the last resort was to go back to the source. Hence the art on void imagination. They even made the zefra system to counter them.
It's a joke to me tbh lol I dont think there's a single cyberse player I've lost against and im running an exodia incarnate *speceific* deck (my extra deck is pot of greed fodder)
Connecting Avida and Tierra is a massive reach but I do agree the designs are similar. However from Master Duel we know Qliphorts are just not involved in anyway.
It is a bit of a reach, but I would say the qliphort inspired designs on avida are too close to not mean something. We also know for certain that they are at least purposefully connected by both being a “star god”
1:27 still remember long ago friend came over and we came up with the idea to try summon her on dueling network. we got so close and 1 time almost summon it and were yelling so much cops got called lol.
Ever since the original release I've always wanted Konami to take the world legacy story arc and turn it into a jrpg. Nothing is stopping them except time and effort.
@@RaineBans a normal mathmech turn 1 with avida turn 3 to recycle materials. you have to hard draw her but mathmech engine doesn' t take much space so you can easy use some cards like upstart and chicken game
avidas staff/wing thing on the right of the card that is mechanical in its art is is sophia’s energy like wing sigil, feels to me like a combination of the two or something like that
I love these cards so much. they really deverse the title of a god card. getting them on the field is really hard, but once they enter, the game is basicaly won
So. When it comes to the God Cards introduced in Yugioh lore, we have: The Three Star Gods The Egyptian Gods (And Horakaty) The Sacred Beasts The Numeron Dragon The Earthbound Gods The Aesir The Wicked Gods and Z-ARC Anyone curious what the hierarchy is meant to be?
Leaves are actually God cards that I learned about as an infernoid player. The primary reason is because One of them looks extraordinarily close to design as the archetype and another one actually looks very similar to the new cards. Also you you tend to start looking into similar looking cards after you see quiliphorts and also notice that they have the same design as infernoids
If there is any way to search these monsters and search out zaborg the megamonarch (able to mill 8 chosen monsters from your and your opponents E-Deck) while still having your normal summon and 2 tributes on the field there is a good chance to bring out the goddess of destruction or the rebuilder of worlds. Quite gimmicky but a lot of fun I presume
avida can be easily done turn one with zaborg the light mega monarch and kaiser seahorse using any kind of extra normal summons like double summon zaborg can use its effect on it self instant 8
i prefer if sophia and tiera eff were swapped. shopia as goddess of rebirth shuffle stuff back in deck for card reuse while tierra as god of destruction banishing stuff
The video, editing and story telling is very good, but the sound mixing needs improvement. Most of the time the sound effects are way too loud, and you can't hear well what is being said.
Fun fact: the DM god cards aren't the gods themselves, but their servants. If you go by their Japanese names this is made more obvious: The Winged Dragon *of* Ra = Ra's dragon. The Sky Dragon *of* Osiris = Osiris' Dragon. Obelisk the Giant Divine Soldier = A soldier of the gods.
There is supposed to be 4 gods with this set at least that was a theory because if you take the first letter of each of their name it would almost spell Star with only the r missing the Albaz storyline was predicted to have the last one
These 3 got abysmal summoning requirements that the only way to play these cards at my locals is through no-holds-barred matches. Meaning we ignore summoing conditions and just turn them to tribute based monsters and just run their effects as if we met the requirements. Also... Neo Daedalus > Robogods and Cow Jesus.
Uhm... You overlooked an important detail about Avida! You can use it on turn two, if your opponent plays a link combo deck, to basically undo their whole turn! 😎
The only gods I care about in Yugioh are Underworld Goddess, Apollousa and Rainbow Dragon (and alternate forms). And really, I mostly only care about the last one.
God-like Dragon i guess, Dragons in Yu-Gi-Oh are almost equal to Gods. we have Numeron Dragon who capable to create universe, Crimson Dragons who beat Earthbound Gods capable of time traveling, Blue-Eyes being equal to any Egyptian Gods except Ra, etc.
Avramax becomes Avida gets infinite power and uses it to rebuild the world from the ground up. I feel like he classifies as a god at that point. Humans becoming gods is a somewhat common jrpg trope too.
Wish Konami would stop making mediocre God Cards. Its so strange that just amped up Signatures are stronger and easier to summon that lore-focused Gods. When Quasar has you beat, you're not doing it right.
Oh, apparently you forget about True King of All Calamities and Masterpeace? Both of them were lore-focused God-like beings that are apparently so very strong and overly easy to summon that Konami still ban them up to this day.
Genious idea to have the sound effects be so loud that they cover your words, and also so often that basically make the video unwatchable. video editing tactics of the future
Sophia is real goddess that belong to the early Christian church. In early Christian Lore it was the Goddess Sophia who created this realm by accident. Sophia belong to a tribe of gods created by the ALL. One day Sophia wanted to create life but her son Yaldabaoth was created out the natural order of thing. Well there is nothing wrong in creating other realms or other gods there most be balance to it. Because Yaldabaoth was created imperfect she created world we live in order to hidden her son from the All.
@@Chief-Remeldian-Olympus this is simply not “early Christian Lore.” The only Christian references to “Sophia” is the Greek word for wisdom. You’re confusing early Christian history and theology with Gnosticism, which is understandable because the Gnostics were found quite often to have a tangential history to early Christians. They believe totally different things, however, and in fact one of the most basic and core Christian tenets is that God created the world and that balance of good and evil is not a necessity.
