"Where is my patience I cannot erase this It lives inside me and it will die with me This gap between us grows on The last thing I want to do is move on." This line kills me dude.
I remember being in high school and listening to this band and this album and it helping me conquer the art of saying "fuck you" to people who were not good for me. Still have so much love for this band.
This song is amazing. The guitar work is amazing for pop punk. The drum work is amazing period. The bass is loud, audible, and in charge, and Parker's vocals are, as to be expected, superb. THIS BAND IS JUST FUCKING AMAZING OK.
Of all the roads I took the wounded way Of all the words That you chose to say There were only 3 that held any weight The rest was all just small talk Lust, I hate it I guess it’s what you make it Now it’s said with past tense For the sake of moving past this Breaking in to me Tell it how you think it’s going to be I’ll bite back with broken teeth So helpless I can’t help this I sense Your purpose So tense inside yet not on the surface And if this is worth it Then why is there still small talk? Where is my patience I cannot erase this It lives inside me and it will die with me This gap between us grows on The last thing I want to do is move on
is anyone like me where they know all their songs but don't really not the lyrics word for word but still managing to sing along with each song? no? just me? ok. I guess 3 years of listening to them pays off fave pop punk band (along with neck deep ever)
Fantastic song and group that I've recently discovered. I'm into hardcore, metal and others but as far as punk/pop punk this is as good as it gets. The chorus of this song is undeniably groovy and drew me in more than any other song on the whole album. Lyrically, TSSF is unmatched in my opinion. Now I just have to see them live. 👍🏼👍🏾
Derek James yup, I've gone further down the rabbit hole. Currently into bands like TSSF, Knuckle Puck, Have Mercy, Movements, and Moose Blood. I know not all of those are pop punk but yeah lmao
It's crazy that the sound the beginning instrumental sounds like neck deeps where we go when we go and verse 1 sounds like knuckle pucks stationary even tho this came out before all that
I think this is my favorite song on the record too, because it is more stripped down, and doesn't have leads all over the place taking away from the lyrics.
sounds like something i would hear from the soundtrack of a teen movie of the mid 2000s maybe thats why i like it so much mumei really had good taste in music
