This band meant everything to me. In 2005 I was diagnosed with anorexia, and they released "This is the end", which is a song that actually mentions boys struggling with anorexia in the music video. Their music helped me cope through my darkest days and helped me find who I am, teaching me that the world is bigger than America and bigger than me. This news is incredibly devastating to all of us fans who supported them and defended them over the years. We never saw this coming.

It's pretty sus to be honest. I could be wrong and I'll admit it if I am, but the way the band members acted says they knew something beforehand and didn't want to acknowledge or talk about it until the news came. If the news never came out, this shows how scared and uncaring they were of telling the truth. And this incident among possibly others or similar means this isn't first time the lead singer did something bad.

This is not anything new, I've liked several bands that turned out the singer was the opposite of what they shouted into their bullhorns. It contributed to my inability to put anyone on a pedestal anymore.

Honestly I don't know how to react because of how sudden the split happened, the allegations came out minutes after the split happened and just took the whole fanbase by storm. Justin (the frontman) is innocent 'til proven guilty

@mikecynic5167 I was first introduced to them in 2018 but I started properly listening and following them since 2021 when their name popped into my head while I was watching the Capital Hill riot (go-figure). "A New Kind Of Army" was the first record I listened to and I was really impressed by the energy and songwriting on from start to finish. Captain Anarchy and No Difference are my favourite tracks from that album
