I got one, use it as a footstop on my downhill skateboard. Lol the Nike collab was to promote their skate shoes, might aswell use the SD kid as so. Lol
The best part of the 7Eleven kits is that it includes two Perfect Grades, one of which is the Gundam Astray Green Frame, which isn't available as a normal retail release.
Gundam will collaborate with almost anyone and it shows. 1. There were limited MG Cup Noodle Gundams 2. Bath bomb Gundams 3. Soccer Gundams 4. Meiji Chocolate Gundams 5. Hotsix (an energy drink?) Gundam 6. 35th anniversary cake Gundam 7. Georgia Coffee (Coca-Cola Japan) Gundam 8. Uniqlo Gundams 9. ANA Gundams 10. Cell phone company Gundam 11. Credit card company Gundam 12. Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympic Gundams 13. Port of Shimizu Gundam 14. JR Gundam where you have to go to each station to collect a stamp in order to get the Gundam as a prize. 15. Gundam made with waste eggshells in the plastic.
Dont forget the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Gundams and the Uniqlo x Gundam kits from 2019 and 2020! But the strangest one that should be in this list is the Gundarium 1/144 RX-78-2. It looks like a meh graphite colored kit but what is strange is the kit's price (2,200.00 USD!). It's actually like that because the parts and runners are not made out of plastic and are made out of alloy metal.
@@jetanarki I did forget the Olympics Gundams (just added them). Actually my number 8 is referring to the Uniqlo Gundams. With the Gundarium Alloy RX-78-2 kit, the metal pieces are the same alloy makeup as what Gundarium is defined as except being mined from the moon. The price reflects the titanium alloy used in it.
@@ED-EMyLove8020 i know. I just learned theres an Amerigramps rx78 being sold exclusively in Target. Im currently in JPN right now and my buddy just sent a box to me with Amerigramps in it.
I actually learned a bit from this as I’m surprised by. I never knew that they made a gunperry seven eleven model let alone a gunperry model kit in the first place. But all these goofy kits just enforce my love for this franchise
It’s funny that you show Nether Gundam, the windmill, and both that and Tequila Gundam are both the most requested suits from G Gundam that don’t have kits out yet
0:07 This made me laugh so hard! I Recently got into building Gundam/Gunpla sets, and they are awesome! I love how posable and well made each kit is. Wish the 7Eleven kits were available in the U.S. Awesome Video by the way!
surprised that he didnt mention the Keropla line basically, its a parody line based around Keroro Gunso, as the anime and manga basically promoted Gunpla kits
But is not really a gundam and are robots that appear in the serie😅 it's the anime that made the parody of gundam by making those robots altough yes they show keroro building gunplas but the robots are haf gundam half ofher robots since they sit on them like code geass robots (they lay on the flying motorcicle that pilots it like karen did on her robot) So we can saythey are just model kits of an anime robots like the code geass or evangelion model kits are The only one that probably is not in the anime is the keroro uc that looks completely like a unicorn gundam but is not a model kit
Been wanting to buy a cool Gundam kit for my friend who's a huge fan. Thanks for this cursed list, I'll make sure they add as much of these kits to my cart!
Sneakers of questionable design? The heck are you talking about. The Gundam Nike SB dunks were one of the best and most coveted SB dunks drops of last year.
About number 5, the most recent Fumina is actually a great kit. Though I'm not sure whether they should redo the other girls or do more stuff from mainline shows such as Allenby, Lalah Sune, etc.
That's not even the strangest ones. I mean, crossover products are just that, crossovers. To me, strange would be: "Remember this canadian gundam movie that was released right into DVD and everybody hates because it's anything but gundam? Oh right you don't. Well, they made a High Grade kit out of it". Also, honor mention to all the million p-bandai kits and expo exclusives you cannot get anymore due to exclusivity, including multiple variations of the RX78-3 G-3, Exias and Freedoms, because SEED sells. I think my most rare gunpla is the G-3 Version of the G40 Beyond Global, which was already a limited kit, also P-Bandai... and the RG Banshee Norn Final Battle, which is also a limited version of an ultimate form of a kit that is a recolor of the Unicorn, basically, with some added parts. There's also the RX78-2 American Type Gundam with the USA Flag on it's side and USA Colors. That's a weird one.
The weird Gundams are the best part, just sucks there the rarest ones to get in the US. Imagine going to your local gas station and buying a Gundam kit while your there.
Char is just too marketable really. Space cowboy on a revange quest. And when when you look at it almost all pilots are war criminals in the franchise by virtue of firing on a retreating unarmed enemy
I gotta the hello kitty gundams and they’re absolute one the best gundam kits I built, the other gudnams that you showed here I wasnt interested until I saw the hello kitty gundam kits👍🏼
1. Agg: The red one with drill arms. 2. Mobile Flat: The black one. 3. Nether Gundam: The windmill Gundam which was called Hurricane Gundam in the English dub
Yeah, the Build Fighter kits are...even if you don't include the character figure kits, the line overall showed some rather low quality both in plastic used, and design. My impression was that the kits like the show(s) was trying to aim toward a lower and lower age demographic with each entry becoming increasingly dumbed down which I think peaked in Gundam Build Divers (it wasn't bad, but dear lord did the plot have gaping holes, and stupid logic...even for an anime). It was this dumbing down that I think made Bandai believe they could get away with lower-quality kits...a notion I think gunpla fans disproved.
