First band I saw age 15 in 1977 . Out if o level maths and on to the Stranglers gig . Always loved em .

Every element of this song is as important as each other.. a real 4 piece..

One of the best bands ever.

They were radio sessions by Radio 1 dj John Peel, a guy who championed punk and alternative music on mainstream radio. He sadly died a few years ago.

@atomicFlyer haha..a Dj on Uk BBC Radio Ones late slot..chmpioned great bands like The Stranglers, The Undertones and The Smiths to name but a few...and yes these "Peel Sessions" were "as" live prerecorded live tracks...was great listening as an early teen for me, with Kid Jenson just before...so Comsat Angels, Skids, Cocteau Twins..Stranglers etc etc.. great time to grow up with music
