I do think the fleet will expand with more allies. Maybe some of the Minx and some of the Samurai. I think it will eventually reach 8000. For no other reason but as to include a joke from Usoph that he has 8000 followers.
tbh usopp's lies are almost all becoming reality like fighting a giant goldfish and such so i wonder if oda will eventually get the grand fleet to 8000 just for usopp's sake xD would be funny
marinus18 the fishmen as well should be included, because of jinbe, and luffy saving fishman island, so luffy has 7 commanders, fishmen, potentially minks, samurais, and the kuja pirates, that’s the strongest fleet we’ve seen thus far, but that’ll be needed of course because BB has the 10 ti-toan-nic commanders... luffy should have a total of 7, with fishmen and kuja being an obvious ally, but not apart of the fleet directly, all in all the fishmen will be the biggest allies for the fleet

Quick thing i just realised. The straw hat grand fleet is comprised of 70 ships, whilst when whitebeard attacked marineford he only had a total of 44 ships (ofcourse these ships were all pirate crews so notably stronger than the grand fleet). However if the grand fleet was to be involved in a war, they would likely have lots of other allies come aswell, which could result in them easily having over 100 ships if you take in the ships from other kingdoms like alabasta and other pirate crews. Now that sounds like something i want to see
Just imagine the world government finding out the straw hats have a grand fleet with 5 giants, multiple trained warriors, a naval battalion and a bunch of mini sonic the hedgehogs.
Also includes the armies of Alabasta and Drum kKingdom, Fishmen, the Skypian armed forces, the Water 7 Super ship, flying fish riders, Samurai, the 7 original divisions And the twin Gods Yosuku and Johnny

The only privilege this title will give is the power to influence and rule other pirates. For Big Mom and Kaidou at least. But for Luffy, it will give him the privilege of freedom. Pirate King has no definite function, it depends on an individual. So you can't compare it to a President's position which functions and responsibities are officially established.

The Minks The Samurai The Fishman The KuJa Pirates The skypian And on the final battle against the Gorosei..I think the alabasta kingdom lead by vivi will join the battle together with dressrossa kingdom and all the other kingdoms that they visit will join the battle.. And I also think the revolutionary army the germa 66 together with some Navy soldier like garp sengouku aokiji coby helmeffo smokers and Tashigi will help luffy with the final battle.

It’s funny how little he mentioned about Hajrudin. Y’know the guy who knew Big Mom as a child. The giant that urged she be killed for murdering Jorul. He has a lot of history with one of the most powerful beings in all of One Piece, and that’s awesome.

i really love that line about the fleet at the beginning since it really showed the importance the formation of the fleet has to get strawhats through as sea they'll need allies for. a really cool window opened for allies of the strawhats that people have wanted to join them being given a bigger focus as the leader of a group in the fleet(not that luffy would ever agree with that statement, which is a great showing of luffy's teenager/young adult mentality and how he cherishes his friends freedom.) it still does kinda disappoint me that they didn't stay in zou long enough to help out during whole cake (especially since one of them possibly has an attack that can kill a yonko which would've been a great way of getting big mom out of the straw-hats hair) and i hope they alongside jinbe, hancock and koby show up in wano soon since i think now is a good time to start setting that up after the oden flashback. also reply with who of the strawhats allies (no joke ones please ;p) you would want to see as part of the grand fleet. i personally alongside the sun pirates, the revolutionaries, the kuja pirates, fujitora or garp, mihawk and perona, kuzan(he's part of the blackbeard pirates for a better reason than just because he hates aikainus sense of justice and is going to leave and play them both i know it.) the rest of the whitebeard pirates including marco and the buggy pirates(they're about to be assaulted by marines, even with buggies abilities and wario-land levels of luck i think they probably wouldn't be too picky about allies.) i would like to see the minks team up for the rest of the journey with them as i feel that would be truer to pedros words of seeing the dawn of the new world and more interesting than carrot simply joining(i just feel carrot and her sulong form give more reason for the minks to join than carrot herself). actually grandline reviewer if you read this can you tell me who you would want to see in the grand fleet and how they would get involved in the current or future arc :3.
i'm not the one you would wanted to comment here, but allow me to appreciate this comment with my own opinion on the last statement: the ideo pirates, maybe for like a small filler/cameo arc, at least for the anime, because i enjoy seeing the ideo pirates whenever they're on-screen and it's a shame that they didn't get as much screentime as the rest of the grand fleet
Josh Senpai probably not, wano is going to develop the main strawhats... putting luffy at yonko tier, zoro & sanji at admiral tier, potentially usopp or franky getting a DF power, jinbe will be joining in soon as well, the grandfleet will be off screen getting stronger thru their own battles, luffy will only assemble the grand fleet to take down the marines, or BB

Josh Senpai it’s One Piece bro, of course Oda will show small clips of the grandfleets captains putting in work, especially barto, after wano, the grandfleets captains should be around yonko commander level, luffy’s main fighters, zoro sanji & jinbe will be admiral level, brooke & franky should end up around yonko commander level as well
Josh Senpai and I’m pretty sure all the commanders will have basic haki, barto & orlumbus might end up having somewhat elite haki, but all in all luffy will only assemble the grand fleet when need be, like against the marines or BB, other than that luffy will go in head first with his regular crew, and he should be fine because after wano he’ll be able to solo yonko tier opponents, and zoro, sanji & jinbe will be able to solo admirals and or admiral tier opponents, but that won’t matter up against BB grandfleet of god knows how many, he has 10 captains so my guess it 10,000
I feel like each crew will get a light novel or a small series of chapters to show their growth in which they travel train build and develop so it makes sense when they are a big help with the big war. Also how the new members got along together such as Cavendish and Suleimon, Ideo and Blue Gilly, and 1 I think is going to happen Bartlomeo and Rockstar who I believe will end up on his crew as his age and outfit scheme matching them more than his actual crew who happens to own the island Bart was on last.

Marines can ever think of publicly executing Luffy, due to the huge backup he got. There is draogn and revolutionary army, then straw hat grand fleet, red haired pirates, disbanded whitebeard pirates, fishman and jinbe, currently alive underlings of oden, who knows if dark king also decides to help in saving luffy, if ace's event repeats itself in future, with luffy. That whole lot would be greatly suffice to crush out marines.

Bartolomeo came in at just the right time into the series. By the time Dress Rosa came around, we had seen people with fewer morals, more outlandish hairstyles, and no Devil power nearly as Troll Worthy as the ultimate defense, i.e. the Bari-Bari no Mi. It was easy to like him, despite all of his odd, and at times scary, otaku mannerisms concerning the Straw Hats. The only person I outright dislike of the seven captains of the Straw Hat Grand Fleet is Cavendish, and that is mainly for his fame hungry ways, his vanity, and the ultimate fact that he would be better suited to a SHOJO manga, narcoleptic personality and all. Hajrudin has recently come up in the Big Mom flashback, and Ideo, Blue Gilly, Abdullah and Jeet's section of the Fleet cover story was legit interesting (No helping dissolve the conflict for them; just being self-serving rascals, true pirates.) Leo and Sai have both appeared in the Reverie arc, and Cavendish and Bartolomeo have been announced to be appearing in One Piece: Stampede at a ROGER PIRATES CONVENTION of all things. Hmm... that leaves Orlumbus as the member we know the least about, cover story info or not.
Luffy and his fleet now has surpassed Whitebeard fleet during the Marineford War Arc because they have 63 ships in total, while Whitebeard fleet only has total 47 ships. What a grand fleet to see in upcoming war! Can't wait to watch that happen. It may increase even more considering he is attracting allies day by day.

even if sugar manages to touch kaido and turn him into a toy, kaido would break out of it through conqueror's haki, if ussop had not saved luffy from sugar he still would have broken out of it through conqueror's

With the Grand Fleet behind him and all the friendships they've made, including those with powerful leaders. It seems to me that the Straw Hats have the stronger and bigger army than Akainu does

Because akainu is just the puppet to the Gorosei, and the Gorosei are puppets to Im-sama, but from the looks of it, compared to marineford arc, the strawhat grandfleet is bigger and stronger than WB’s crew, overall, zoro and sanji aren’t at the level to defeat Marco jozu and vista

I really think that the straw hat grand fleet is really underrated, when you search it up there are only 6 results. i think there should be more attention to it.
I know Ideo is strong enough to rank as a captain, but is a crew of four really going to make it very far in the new world? Ideo and Blue Gilly are both great fighters, but they don't seem to have the practical skills to run a ship, and Abduhlla and Jeet don't seem to have any skills at all. I love Ideo, and i'm glad he's a captain, but without more followers, he and Blue Gilly would've been better off joining up with Cavendish or Sai for the time being, and Abduhlla and Jeet seem like they would fit better with the Barto club.
This is why people should stop saying Luffy can't be the 5th emperor cause he's not on par with the others....this guy got A FLEET BIGGER THAN THE REST OF EM!
I can’t wait for the final battle of one piece when Luffy and the straw hats gather all of their allies from across the globe. All the islands, pirate groups, comrades, RA, and deadly ancient weapons (Poseidon and Pluton) will be insane.

yes to be more in theory why luffy refused to drink saké it's probably not because of his age , but more like a ritual that he formed with his 2"brothers" ace and sabo they made a pact that when they drink the cups of sake they would call each other brothers and therefor the 2 brother he loves so much would never make a pact like that towards any other people ofcourse thats only my opinion i guess not many people have been thinking about that
