Hygiene we will try our best to maintain good

Don’t worry they are cleaning this shelter before the dogs from the courtyard shelter are fully moved in here. Hopefully there will be a full hygiene routine on a daily rota, fortnightly, monthly yearly etc basis. Thank you.

I have impression Lucky herds a little. But these herders want to chase cars. My small sheltie was like this. My collies didn’t chase cars, but our border collie was always wanting out and she was very attracted to herd a car like the sheltie. The sheltie would go in front neighbors’ to stop them. We had to watch him so much. But he never got hit by car and died at 13, full life. I do not know if border collies would do this, Lucky and Harry.

Collies are active and intelligent , they need guidance and instruction to keep them happy and healthy. God bless you, I can tell you care deeply about dogs. There are several of us that care about their mental , physical and emotional welfare here. These people have lots to learn, if they care about the dogs even in the slightest, they will actively learn. There’s so much free information on animal handling husbandry , needs etc on RU-vid tutorial type channels. There really is no reason not to educate themselves.

@@kathleenguloy7906 yes, cultural but not conducive to learning as the assumption will alway be “I know better than you” or “I won’t listen to your suggestion or knowledge “ arrogance is a killer of information and improvement. I need to see ‘love in action’ ie; by keeping them and their shelter clean, by handling the puppies gently, etc etc. which I’ve seen some not only rough but dangerous handling of the puppies. Love is so much more than cooing and ahhhing on camera , and patting furiously on their heads. Love need substance. Hopefully this new shelter will have a daily ,fortnightly , monthly hygiene rota. And there are heaps of free video channels on RU-vid , on dog / puppy handling safely and other husbandry tips. Grooming , brushing, the best utensil / shampoos etc to purchase for shelters. I wish them all the best in their endeavours to improve and learn as they go along. The dogs conditions and health will demonstrate how they are doing in this aspect. Thank you.
