Whoever was in the dubstep scene in this era. I love you all . We had such a beautiful subculture. To be young again and love music and go to raves with no care in the world . I had the best times of my life listening to these songs
The best years of my life were 2008-2013 for raving and the golden age of dubstep.. TAO 2011 when nero performed followed by Rusko bringing in the New Year was one of the most epic nights of my life!!!
There was always something special about this era of dubstep. It was so much more melodious than the newer stuff which just sounds like random noise. Glad there are still a few artists out there keeping the old sound alive.
its still there , deep in you :) normaly im the kind of guy who is depressed cause past is past and shitt , but trust me all this memories live on in you
I was 15/16 when this was posted. Playing call of duty with the boys and just not having a single care in the world. I will cherish those days for the rest of my life. The people I met playing online, friendships I still have till this day. Had kids, got houses, bills and the rest. Madness.
Such a beautiful track. I discovered this track accidently whilst tripping on lsd about 8 years ago and ever since its been my fav ever dubstep tune. Its actually one of my fav all time tunes. Moral of the story is I know how you felt when you stummbled across this as I did too x
Used to be, and still is, one of my favourite Dubstep tracks. It's incredibly emotionally diverse - I can listen to this playing video games competitively, when i'm feeling sad, when i'm dancing/raving, when i'm under the influence... Consistently fantastic tune.
Me and a great freind made one of the greatest dubstep mixes of all time. We were high on acid and spent 3 days. I lost the master CD years ago. Honestly everywhere I went that disc came with. I changed so many people into liking dubstep with that mix 💙💙 good times, shame it was lost to the sands of time
Don't be sad it's over, be happy it happened! You can totally go through all these videos and re-listen to 2010/2009 dubstep songs. You might even find some that you've never heard before! It's better now that you've got all of them out and you can listen to everything! This is a good thing. Don't be sad it's over, be happy we have it.
Crazy isn't it? Just started listening to old these old DS songs that I used to game to when I was young. Now I don't even listen to dubstep and I don't have any interest in games but these songs make me feel like a kid again just enjoying life when things were more simple.
Iconic nostalgia. So many good times related to this music, the music of a generation has ended and will never be the same. Goodbye dubstep my old freind
The best song from this year. I will always love this song. I remember when I 1st found this it's been at least 11 years. Brings back memories everytime I hear it.
I remember grinding through school in this year. Being poor and bullied, this helped me so much. Now I can bang out this tune hard in my 90K AMG burmesters audio. Time flies now in married and approaching 30 but I'll never forget this and how we must grind to success no matter what. Thank you REAL dubstep and it's awesome community local and abroad.
I forgot this song exhisted, heart the first 5 seconds, anthe rest is history. I used to listen to this song on repeat, and Im about to start again.... This hits me so hard.
what you (and other skrillex haters for that matter) need to realise is, skrillex didn't just think "i'm going to make dubstep mainstream and cause controversy", he just started producing and happened the give the whole dubstep scene a push forward because a lot of people liked what he was doing. you can call his music good or bad, but at the end of the day he's still a great producer that did a lot for the EDM community.
I was raving to this and the other quality dubstep back in the golden age. Now I'm a dad lead a completely different life now. I still miss this, the drugs, good times, unforgettable times and the people I shared it with... Oh and the sex ;)
I have listened to way too much dub in my days, and i've got to say that this song in particular has continued to be some of the best ever made. NERO A GOD. \*__*/
I'm touched by everyone mentioning how this was the first track they ever listened to and talking about memories. Amazing track. Music can be so powerful.

Jesus... The nostalgia hits hard with this track. To think that an entire decade elapsed already since this dropped makes me sad yet angry at the same time. It's hard to explain- I just can't believe it's been this long.
This was the first UK Underground/Dubstep track that I listened to, My friend from England showed it to me 5 years ago (I'm from Australia) and I fell in love with Dubstep, Drum and Bass and many other sounds of the UK like Grime and Garage. It has been 5 years and now I am making music like this. All because of this song. Music is a beautiful thing. And I have my mate to thank for this.
I'd check out the two guys from DMZ. Mala and Coki give 2 very different perspectives of classic dubstep. If you want something more melancholic then Burials worth checking out or some of the Deep Medi stuff.
I was just telling my friends the same thing. Old edm had rhythm and melodies to die for. Today's music is choppy tracks mashed together without any bigger picture to capture you.
