This is the story of how Manchester United striker Enoch West got banned from playing football/soccer for 30 years.
There was a lot of confusion circulating on Twitter asking what Enoch West did to get banned for 30 years, this video explains the shocking story.
While he and 7 others were caught match fixing and initially banned by the FA from playing football/soccer for life, a decision that the FA later presented to them would shape the lives of everyone involved.

Basically, Enoch James West, nicknamed Knocker, was an English footballer who played as a centre forward for Nottingham Forest and Manchester United before being banned for match fixing for 30 years. West was born in Hucknall Torkard in Nottinghamshire. He started his career for Sheffield United but failed to break into the first team.

Enoch West was my grandfather's cousin. They nicknamed my grandfathers son Knocker West after Enoch 😊

What are your guys’ thoughts on this situation? Was the FA right to send the banned players to war? Personally I think it’s just another tragic story in the wider context of World War 1
