Been listening to the Strokes since the beginning and this sounds like something off their earlier albums. Absolute banger.

This album was really a beam of light in the rock music industry. To be in the business for over 20 years and still release an album of that quality is insane. Have never seen that from the rock bands of the 2000's.

The whole album The New abnormal quite literally got me through the pandemic. Couldn’t have come out at a better time.

The most meaningful part of this video for me wouldn't be how they are celebrating their single victory against the machines, but how the machines simply turn off after the game ends.To them it's just a task they were programed to do, then flipping the switch. No celebration, no emotion, no joy. Something that will forever be a trait exclusive to Humanity.

This album is a fucking classic. I don’t think I know of a band that managed to put out a classic album 20 years in, without completely reinventing their sound. What an incredible band The Strokes.
