I kind of fell out of love with the Strokes during the past 10 or so years and randomly got this video recommended today. This album makes me love them all over again. Every song is so good.

Discovered this gem just last week. Last time i remember listening to The Strokes was about a decade... Under Cover of Darkness... Loving the band again, more than ever :)

The adults are talking is the song that got me into the strokes I heard it on an SNL episode and I was like oh my this song makes me feel good and that's what got me started and now I'm hooked

I think what the Strokes are trying to say with this album is that the early albums were no fluke! What a fucking amazing album. Just as good as the early days. Feels so incredible to listen to them at their best again.

These guys came out when I was in college. They defined those years for me. We are the same age, so I feel that kindred connection. It's so cool that I had them in my Past, Present, and hopefully Future. 😎

Ive honestly just heard of these guys because they popped up on my for you page and Im so in love with this album. Its nostalgic in a way that reminds me of classic songs from the 80s and 90s era. This is just a masterpiece.

Honestly don't know why, but I *really* thought that this song was way older than it was by *literal years. I had no clue they were still making music cause I never really followed their social's or anything like that, only listened to my fav record's/songs by them. Regardless, I absolutely LOVE* that they are back and I definitely got to buy this record. (Also sorry if they never left even though I implied it. Again: I never followed them so I never heard they were making new music) *EDIT* : Just found out I was right and this is their comeback album. No fucking clue why I didn't know about it and feeling kinda disrespected no one told me lmao.

Best of the Strokes fo sho. Late 90’s grunge feel of their earlier albums finished off with a bit of the falsetto style from Muse and the ‘including your dog reggae vibe’ from Sublime 😍 Whoever doesn’t like this album is not my friend.
