There is a problem with your damage im using the rajang cb with a better set than you and i get less damage on my phial i eat bombardier activate offensive gard by doing a counterpeack perf right before i get hit just wtf

Did you use demondrug, might seed and demon powder? That could be why

@@wickedweavile4612 hi yeah I'm having a similar problem, phials peaking at 120. Did everything deka described including the buffs you listed. What could I be missing? Am I supposed to use the attack boost from palico?

Make sure you're eating, dango bombardier and booster. As well use Mega demon drug for the extra boost to raw damage.

I forgot, thanks for the feedback, next time I'll remember to mention it next time, if you updrade your Diablos CB from zero you can get Attack Boost II and with Rampage CB is Attack Boost, Non-Elemental Boost, and Attack Surge.

I use, counter peak performance, counter morph slash and condensed element slash

That's weird, I don't know what else you could be missing, I assume you have the Artillery and Bludgeoner skills right?

@@KK_Draws_Stuff I just re did this build on PC ( this vid was on switch) and the damage numbers are the exact same, I think you might be forgetting the Switch Skill "Counter Morph Slash," when you guard point an attack and then do an SAED or AED after you receive a 30% phial damage boost, let me know if that helped

Try the switch skill counter morph slash, gives you extra time for you to guardooint and also gives you a 30% damage boost to your phials when you do an SAED after the guardpoint Lemme know if it helped you!!

It does more ko damage but it doesn't reflect on damage numbers

The traiming dummy numbers are without food and buffs, on monsters its buffed and with dango bombardier and booster

Everything you need to reach that damage on the training dummy is: Bludgeoner lv 3 and Artillery lv 3 and eat for Dango Bombardier and Dango Booster, I didn't had any buffs there, against the monsters, all of the previous buffs and Mega Demondrug, might seed and demon powder. For every hunt I recommend eating for Dango Bombardier, Booster and Weakener

Yes it does, but for some reason you have to be even more precise with the counter timing compared to regular shielding or a guard point

You can get an attack boost ramp up if you upgrade the diablos CB from zero, I just forgot to mention that in the video. But yeah, Rajang CB ends up with a tiny bit less damage, but having bludgeoner active all the time makes them have the same damage

I think you are probably missing the 30% bonus damage it gives the switch skill Counter Morph Slash, that activates when you SAED after a guardpoint (blocking while switching from axe to sword or from sword to axe)

You also need to eat dango Booster and buff with mega demondrug, might seed and powder

I got the talisman with melding, just got lucky with RNG, but you can make it work with another talisman, that has less guard and another offensive skill. And about the rampage build sharpness its not useless the thing is that you don't need to be on green sharpness to maximise the damage, I'll recommend to stay at max sharpness the majority of the hunt

okey thanks, cuz i got talisman with Partbreaker 3 and Carving Master 1, i can put 1 lv2 jewel et 1 lv1, so i put guard and speed sharp ! Partbreaker doesn't add damage to the counter attack, so idk if have to change this to get guard 5/5.. Oh nice, so this is why we have sharp speeding, thanks you so much

Partbeaker its good also, the part damage is not reflexted on the damage number you see on screen but its also good to have and break more monster parts to maximise the rewards, doesn't have to be a copy of the build I showed :)

Don't be affraid to ask we've all been new in the game in a time. About brutal strike, since the phials can't crit, if you're going for phial damage its not worth it, the only thing that makes phial damage go up its raw damage, besides skills that give boost to explosions, like artillery or dango bombardier

It works, but it end up lacking damage around MR 5, you can get the upgrade for the CB's and still make em work, but I'll drop more builds for sunbreak later this month, when I finish the game

Yes, defender gear can even be helpful in high rank, but these buils are ofensive focused instead of defensive

Hi, I'll gladly answer your questions but I'm not a professional or anything like that so maybe I'm wrong. -For this specific build its better CPP as you can activate offensive guard with it and counter with an SAED, Axe hopper its a good option but that skill is more focused on the hit of the axe instead of the phials so I'll probably run a phisical build for it (video coming soon) -In my opinion focusing on the affinity will be better with Spinning Slash Mode instead of SAED, but you can make a build with 100% affinity and lv 3 Artillery with the Narga CB (even better with axe hopper) and it's totally worth to make -In this build rapid morth its not a priority because it does not speed up the SAED animation, it gives you more damage but its not that much to care. Its god tier if you are running a Spinning Slash Mode tho. -The difference between diablos and rajang CB's is 6 raw damage, with all the multipliers gets a liitle higher than that, not that big of a deal but at the end, has more damage. After more testing I figured out that if you are not doing SAED's everytime rajang's CB is better because of the negative 30% affinity of diablos CB. Those were a lot of things I didn't mentioned in the video because I realized after or I just forgot, I'm just starting with this so sorry if the info is not complete! I'm happy to see more people interested in playing Charge Blade, thanks!

Honestly Idk how to calculate EFR, but this being a counter build, i think is less consistent than Narga savage axe

ps: ive tried getting the fighter palico buffs (both rousing roar + power drum) and still cant get 145 per phial as shown in the video

You need to use the switch skill Counter Morph Slash and guard point to activate Offensive Guard, I forgot to mention that 😅

Dango booster also helps iirc, i had the same problem but with both dango booster and bombardier i dealt the same damage as dealt on the video

Yes, in paper it would be stronger, the problem is that has less green sharpness and more blue than the diablos CB, then you're not getting max damage most of the time
