World buffs are great for causals btw. It's essentially a temporary xp buff.

For the Yowler encounter, once his merry band of manbearpigs spawns, if you tag/hit him from afar in the first 2 seconds, only he will chase without a leash on the other two.

to answer your question, i am excited about classic plus. cant wait to tank grim batol on a paladin, or mdps timbermaw hold on dwarf shaman who will have a totem UI. in order to gather all the hardest to get transmogs, and show them off in the new BGs. definitelly hardcore was more enjoyable than the classic release. way more social. way less toxic (surprisingly). way way less rushing.

I played a dwarf priest in classic. They nerfed fear ward and gave it to all races. You're lucky it's 30 secs.

The long leash was because everyone on the aggro table had to loose the leash, so around 13 sec per person on the aggro table

I think a good amount of people are gonna use the duel to the death feature to settle disputes. Imagine some someone cuts the line and steals your named NPC. You challenge him to a duel and delete that shitter

Crazy to me how ppl still actually like wow classic outside of hardcore but at the same time xaryu is a pvper and a streamer thats the reason he played maxed and quit while everyone else actually had to play the game without randoms fron chat to make instant groups everytime he wants some better gear

@Zar 1:26 talking about the low level duels... think people will make lvl 19 or 29 twinks or something? knowing people will be more likely to do a duel to the death at that level?! that could be a very enjoyable challenge.. can't wait to see some of that content! makes leveling a mage more interesting or another class for that matter. not just for survivals, or a meta racial, but for pvp now as we'll. think of the content, if showing your dule to the death badges, also shows for opposite faction wins as well... now, if only all that will be possible but then the top 3 per zone are show on your map, like a rare élite kind of thing. since grieving, and mob leashes are implemented, you could have the highest rated player be seen on everyone's map. it could be possible! ultimately, it comes down to why would someone want to do this? -- spend hundreds of hours to get to max level and bis gear then, just risk it all in a duel to the death? is the cosmetic icon when someone clicks on your name worth it? or is it, whenever anyone opens their map they see a little bronze, silver, or gold pvp rare elite emblem floating around.. that sounds pretty sick to me! You have to also keep in mind, for maybe a surprisingly enough other people, just getting a character to 60 is not that big of a challenge. a decent understanding of a 20 year old game, nearly an infinite amount of data and content about wow classic-- getting to level 60 is not that bad.. yeah mistakes happen here or there, and you evolve, but if you're doing the process 1- 60 with a decent understanding of the 20 year old game, and don't take avoidable risks , it's not bad at all. yes! that's boring, but, that's also why we watch you and other creators while we're doing it! that's why, maybe more people will be doing than you think. but certain people wont want to risk it all for the glory, and that's okay too... but those people will be around, and on the server to see someone who will do it. and that's going to be bad ass! after all they did say the server will announce it like it was hunger games or a battle royal. haha i can see now the quickest server wide level 60 to a, dead level 60 from a duel to the death! puts a whole new meaning on the term, duo partner xD - x

I wasn't dumb enough to take Classic WoW 2019 super sweaty and just enjoyed myself. I find it sad that it takes HC Classic for some people to enjoy the game. That, to me, shows signs of a mental condition one should pull back a bit from even IRL.

Decent! You got to work on your heal cancelling, that overheal when your offhealer topped off the tank XD we call it the healing dance, use move keys to cancel heal then recast

What if instead of dying you would lose a big amount of exp or even a level or 2? Wouldnt that be nice? Ofc in paper I like the Idea of duel to the death a lot more but... as you said not too many ppl are going to that... Oh and what if ppl could actually bet "x" amount of levels on the duel and the max amount is "death"? you would have to increase the reward for the winner depending on the bet as well... would that be better? Im just saying stuff that comes to mind while typing haha

not having the option to appeal due to disconnect for official HC is ridiculous imho. Just way too much potential time investment for something that is completely out of your hands and you know it will eventually happen. Don't get why anybody would play on official that way. What is the upside of it honestly?

what there needs to be is an addon, where people can label others. (i know kinda dystopian idea, but its only for the game) so if someone is a leaver, or lets people to die on purpose, or cheats in duels, you can have many labels to choose from. though, i'm sure no one would abuse this, certainly not :P

sorry Xaryu, but hc is the same damn game as classic, with small caveat of you die you delete. there is still addons, there are still world buff, there are still endless amounts of resources railroading players in 1 direction to endgame, players still min/max. the only difference is that players have to delete if they die.
