I suggest sorting by upper if you want to see a reasonable class balance. Upper isn’t ceiling, so it’s not a one in a million type run, but when getting to upper the gear and skill of players trends upward. It would also filter away the low gear/transcendence people. Mean and middle is a bit unfair to compare
for low population classes sorting by "max" is a lot better to get an idea of how they're doing 'cus some classes like co or tth only have 3 or so people uploading in thae and ivory
I had some issues with NE and doing damage while staying stationary. A lot of the attacks wanted me close to attack or caused me to move while attacking. Could have been a hands issue but I had to stop my skills every so often to make sure I didn't get blasted. Respecced to FMH and had a much better time. This is normal mode though so who knows on Hard
Blade, Breaker, Souleater clearly top 3. Wardancer and Arcana always top 10. Peacemaker is more solid than people think, it only when bad around voldis and elixir but performance is around average on thaemine and it was very good from valtan to kayangel
Funny how two of the transformation classes, which are deliberately crippled, are doing not as well as others. Hopefully with the balance patch next week, we may see them move up.
I think it makes no sense to look at the Thaemine hard. Since most people will get there only a month after the release of Echidna and then it will take another month for the data to accumulate. Most people are in the 1600-1620 range. so the data on Thaemine normal and Akkan hard is something that should be trusted
Gotta disagree. The data in hm is more consistent imo. Player dmg varies like crazy from 1610-1629 due to elixirs. Practically everyone is decently min maxed and has their 40 set done at 1630+ range
@@christopherpolanco7904 for average values, the presence (absence) of elixirs does not affect anything, for everyone with 40 sets there will be without a set and with 35 sets. your logic goes like this igniter is at the top because absolutely everyone uses the 40 set and the gunlancer is at the bottom because they all don't have a set or they don't use elixirs at all 1630+ currently shows who has a higher ceiling
If you want to make a proper video about this, you should use the advanced options. These stats are biased by item level. In example if there are a lot of sorcerers above 1640 they will have more damage than a few death strike players just barely above 1630. Use the advanced options to trim the upper levels to 1633 or 1635 in Thaemine and you'll see some changes.
I partially agree with this chart (breaker and slayer are on the top no doubt) , but how comes that Summoners and Zerks are always out of the MVP screen, and Gunlancers and Sorcs always appear? Cos they are supposed to be zdps.
Should sort by max / ceiling imo. the reason akkan shows classes liek Night's Edge so far down is because your seeing alot of 1600 cheap alts that also dont know how to play the class. meanwhile in theamine hard your relegated to people who main the class and know how to play it.
Almost never a good idea to sort by ceiling because out of the thousands of logs present literally only 1 person managed to get that high. So it's not a realistic benchmark.
3:46 Ok we have to say that almost all positional classes down there at G1 cause this gate absolutelly trash for back attackers. So scrapper, reaper, striker, glavier, slayer etc all down there ... Only Asura, GT and Lunar kinda exeptions and doing pretty decent somehow... Asura tho getting 10% nerf and will go much lower. This shows how drasticly raid design changes classes performance.

gunslinger 7 dmg lv 10 gems build to just to be in the average. and now in tier 4 if you did not sold your gems before the announcement you are the class that is being devalued the most. a cursed class from start to journey end. 10/10 would not recommend
gunslinger has been the most solid dps between valtan to akkan. it only changes a bit with elixirs then it went difficult in the thaemine hard period after the huge powercreep with souleater and assassins reworked. still its the most solid crit syn, will have a lot of tripods/skillpoints in t4 and you dont even know the ark passive. gs has always been strong A tier class crit syn, its not meants to be the main damage dealer bcause its a sustain class. and it can become even better in seeason3. you can see on the log its 15/45 so its a bit above average on dps, nothing to blame considering all classes has been buffed like hell to grab money
Any support is pretty cheap to build in terms of gold along with being quite chill,. Any swiftness class, but mainly primarily predator slayer. Items are cheap because they are swiftness, and then being slayer in general you pump damage out like nobody's business. After that would be crit classes, but I would really recommend night's edge souleater as they feel really great to play, along with not being 'too' expensive to build if you're f2p. Just keep an eye on your phaeons and dont buy things you dont need. An honorable mention for a chill playstyle would be loyal companion sharpshooter. His accessories arent too expensive, but it depends if you want crit swift, or crit spec. Spec items are generally more pricey, but that is entirely up to you. Hope you find something you find enjoyable though :)

Loyal companion is like the worst class now No utility for the pt, and is consistently at the bottom of dps in almost every single raids, regardless of how much bosses move. And LC is my main. :( Only female classes get big enough buff to rise to the top from the balance patch , sadly.
I thought surge db was the most OP according to everyone on reddit. from the looks of it, they barely hit the top unless its fairy static guardians, and in the properly important dungeons like thaemine, they're not even top 10.
its op for the players with hands you look at players like machupichu on naw and he has a video of himself getting 57m dps on g3 hm thaemine very few classes have the ceiling but when it comes to the average db they aint doing anything near that
@@frostrs7949 that's also highly depending on who you play with to get a number that high on surge its a 4 man effort to buff tf out of the surge blade and let them get their damage off uninterrupted its not a realist parse for anyone pf even if they have hands. its the same with saturn 60 mil in thermine hard where he could just eat mechs left and right and sit at 7 stacks for majority of the fight because he had a pocket gunlancer and artist perma shielding and DRing him. no surge blade even if they are as good as saturn is able to play that risky in a PF
The gameplay of Lost Ark is extremely fun. The combat is definitely the best out of any MMO I've ever play and probably will play. But it is a korean mmo at the end of the day so it will have those korean mmo problems.
No pvp.. no guild war.. the end game is just learning new raids and earning gold. But overall fun raids..once you learn them...downside is finding a learners party will take time..upside is solo content is coming out soon
