I am not a native speaker, and i have been learning English for 15 years, and i can proudly say that i understand 30% what the guy says. I mean the one in the purple tshirt.
The subtitles are almost as funny as the post above with suggestions of what he’s saying.”Summon them” and “Terry’s gay and I’m enjoying his wife” finish me every time. The funniest bit of the autogenerated captions was the end where it says “Good Morning” followed by ‘music.’ That was a hilarious surprise! 😂
@@KoolAid12348 I'm also Scottish. I said hes " Thinking Scottish" not speaking Scottish. Meaning the distinguish difference between Irish and Scottish.
Gingy The Scot haha I’m happy you are the only one that picked up my last name was Italian. My father is Italian, Albanian, Spanish and maybe French, and my mother is Italian, Greek, German, Irish, English, Scottish.
- Hi! - Abrhaabr-ahah! - How are you doing? - Abrabbbrarara-aa! (...) - ... what do you want say to them? - Abr-hahabe-a-a-abrabra he doesn't seem to understand what he's saying 😁
I was talking to a bloke with the identical accent at Cheltenham Races back in November. He was telling me that a horse called "The Real Whacker" had a good chance in the last race of the day. Thankfully his son was with him and was kind enough to translate for me 🙂 Right enough the horse romped home in first place.
Exactly my thoughts. I had to crafta lot of equipment but i defested the enderdragon today. And this is what the enchanting language sounds like for sure!

Linguistically speaking, accents are the start of a new dialect and language. Eventually we will not be able to understand the British or Irish (if you’re American, and if not the other way around). So all in all, this man’s ahead of his time.
The major change to that process in recent years has been globalization. Rather than diverge, I would predict that English and major languages overall will become more and more standardized, and smaller dialects/accents as well as less spoken languages will die out. We’ve already seen this in the U.S with the standardization of teenage American accents, which apart from some rural regions in the Deep South and far north of the country have become very similar.
I understood about 60% . I come from near the centre of England 🏴. Near the Black Country .. yam yams all round here 😂. You just have to read between the lines .. same with one of my ex’s parents ( Jamaican patios) . Need a good ear for any strong dialects👂
Honestly though i could only understand 2 words - player and farmer. This is a nightmare for non native speakers like me.. I'm taking toefl next year and i might reconsider taking it tbh.
