I think the fact that Zabuza could break down the Sharingan so in depth and come up with an applicable counter to it after one encounter shows his intelligence which nobody ever talks about.

I have obito as the best at using base sharingan genjutsu. Bro held a perfect jichuriki under total genjutsu without anyone knowing for years.

I would love to get stories about Indra and Ashura. They have to be way more powerful than we give them credit for. Ashura had all of his father's power and Indra was naturally gifted enough to equal that.

It is funny to think that Madara's Sharingan Abilities may have been hampered due to the lack of Hax it needed to get over during the time of its awakening. As he and his brother needed eyes to see originals from clones [something no one else has been able to properly distinguish] and needed ultra hightened prowess to take in information while dealing with potentially 20-30 copies of his arch enemies: Hashirama and Tobirama. So it is funny that he gets no official ability and only passive traits that allow him to potentially even out or gain an edge in the wars he lived in. Imagine if he had a proper hax? He would have been nuts.

For me personally Itachi's Susanoo has the perfect offense and defence cause most of the others focus on offence while treating the Susanoo as their only protection

Just a side note referring to what you said at 24:40 , I don’t believe Itachi used the Yata Mirror against Kirin otherwise it would’ve been reflected since literal lightning is still physical and the Yata Mirror can reflect physical and spiritual attacks. After Kirin hits you can see Itachi just barley managed to activate susanoo but only in its skeleton form which didn’t have the Yata Mirror equipped.

Also let’s realize, the reason why Kakashi isn’t shown copying as much Jutsu, is because after copying over 1,000 Jutsu, he’s also probably killed a large amount of those Ninja and therefore has killed off some Jutsu’s only wielders and if he’s already learned a bunch of Jutsu from someone then there’s no more need to copy fellow members of the same clan. The only people to know more Jutsu are probably 3rd Hokage and Orochimaru.

The start of your video where Sasuke fires off a fire ball at Naruto made me think for a moment. Fire style may not be the most powerful style; but it is incredibly useful because users in most cases use it to gain some distance in a fight so they can use whatever technique they plan on using to win the fight.

When you mentioned Madara's stamina at the end it made me think of something for Edo Madara: Reanimations don't have infinite chakra, only infinite replenishing, do we know what producing shadow clones does to an edo tensei's chakra supply? If it does divide the supply by number of clones then just being able to make 25 shadow clones all with enough chakra to use Susano'o is massively impressive (but maybe it doesn't split chakra totals the same, and maybe having hashirama cells added to his chakra pool)

Ok so the reason Kotoamatsukami has such a long cool down is that, like any non EMS sharingan ability, it will slowly but surely darken the light of the eye. Im sure Itachi could pump enough chakra into the eye to make it work again, but if he did he risked actually losing the ability forever. A lot of the beauty of a power system is when restraint grants you advantage.

What I wanna know is how the heck did Sasuke not awaken his MS sooner? Not only did he see his entire clan get wiped out but it got wiped out by his brother. Why did he only awaken base sharingan? He should’ve jumped straight to MS with something that traumatic. Does the emotional trauma not stack? Not only that, but Itachi made him relive it in Tsukuyomi TWICE! He should’ve awakened the Rinnegan from that nonsense 😂

Counter to the Kakashi copy point, Zabuza acknowledges that Kakashi didn't actually copy him, but instead hypnotized Zabuza into using the water dragon. I still think Nick is spot on with Kakashis placement on the list, but the hypnotizing feat is way more impressive and also unfortunately not copying.

Obito is the most sharingan user. Kamui is the most OP and broken jutsu. Obito sharingan could see nano bugs. He also stopped Itachi Amaterasu planted in Sasuk's eyes when he sees Obito.

Makes sense why Kakashi is so good at copying. He isn't a Uchiha and didn't use his mangekyou for years. So he focused on its useful, less taxing abilities.

Imagine if the Uchihas min maxed their MS army. They just have reserves of un-awakened kids, send in a few to fight their biggest threat and hope one of them awakens something to beat that dude in particular. you wouldn't need to have 1 person strong enough to be everyone, but you would still always have a huge chance of winning and get a lot of really diverse users

Personally I think that aside from overall MS abilities and Obito’s hack on Yagura Itachi is the best general genjutsu user. We see him use it constantly in battles. From Kurunai, to Kakashi, Naruto, and his battles against Sasuke too!

The second we got to the genjutsu segment, my mind went to Obito using it on Yagura, and then I thought "waaaait... are we gonna see the 'you will be useful to me' clip?" And there it was xD I realize that it's almost guaranteed an issue of not having enough footage, but... goodness is it nice to have reliability. I thought about this when rewatching Naruto, and they say that Hiruzen has mastered all the leaf specific justu. It makes sense that the byakugan isn't that powerful. It's just the otsutsuki's normal eyes, while the rinnegan was derived from eating a chakra fruit. But the watered down version is the sharingan, which is used like the byakugan. The byakugan gets an enhanced version, but we only know little about it. Plus no Hyuga could ever obtain the advanced version, the tenseigan. That's what makes the sharingan a more superior dojutsu. It's derived from a chakra fruit, not part of a blood line

There's a really good moment of Kakashi using his copy ability to copy one of the hidden snow ninjas jitsu in the Naruto movie " ninja Clash in the Land of Snow."

Kakashi also did it once against kisame. Before itachi proceeded to beat the brakes off his younger brother, Kakashi copied kisame when he confronted them and paid for it dearly🤣🤣

As far as Kakashi's copy ability, I always just figured most of his multiple Chakra nature jutsus (water/mud wall etc.) had been copied from other fights. Also Rasengan was a notable example that was overlooked here of a high-level jutsu he was able to just do thanks to his sharingan. Edit I did a dumb, Kakashi didn't copy rasengan

i despise the concept of the sharingan it started off as i can see shit better... and better... and betterER but then it became i can put you in a genjutsu which can trick your brain into putting you into a coma or i can put you in a genjutsu which can subtly change your ideals to the point that you have no more free will... and i can phase shit into another plane of existence, and i can phase myself into another plane of existence... all the way to i can literally change reality to how i see fit for like 2 minute, or put people in another genjutsu that time loops until they change their ideals voluntarily, until this was retroactively fitted to the base sharingan... and don't forget the massive chakra constructs because they have all the giant foes in the world to fight... all i'm saying is... powercreep, i guess p.s. now that i write this down, kotoamatsukami just seems like a regenerating izanami is that just shisui's ability? someone email nick about this

I feel bringing up shishui’s MS ability in the genjutsu section for base sharingon is a bit unfair. And while it’s true, we see Obito and Madara genjutsu tailed beasts, we’ve also never seen someone fail to genjutsu tailed beasts, this kind of obscures the level of the feat to me. Itachi however, was famous for his genjutsu prowess to the point he didn’t even have to have someone look into his sharingon, a finger point was sufficient. In addition to this, he showed the ability to not just escape a gen jutsu expert’s jutsu with his sharingon but was able to effortlessly reverse it, capturing her in that jutsu to the point she had to draw blood to break it. A near blind Itachi without trying to kill Sasuke still had gen jutsu skills to go back and forth with him and look like a baller while doing so. Not to mention what he did to daidara when recruiting him. And on top of that, he out genjutsued Orochimaru when he was healthy and still had both arms. I don’t think shishui lived long enough to have this feat.

I don't know if someone else mentioned this, but Izanagi and Izanami were not mentioned. Taking the liberty of awarding the Izanagi and Izanami awards, I award the Izanami award to Itachi. I cannot currently remember any other uses of Izanami outside of Kabuto. The Izanagi award is a bit more difficult, since there are three users: Madara, Obito, and Danzo. Obito is eliminated since he only used it once and against the subjectively weakest opponent. Between Madara and Danzo its tougher. Danzo used it many times, probably to the point he mastered it, but he still lost his fight. Madara on the other hand used it like it was supposed to be used, to escape a fight. Not only that, but he managed to trick both Hashirama and Tobirama that he was dead and survived the fight he lost. This is doubly impressive since he escaped from the two people who should know the most about death, one creating the Impure World Summoning technique and the other a Sage user. The only issue I have with this rating is that he didn't use Izanagi when being stabbed by black zetsu. Either way, I believe the award goes to Madara due to his quality over Danzo's quality.

Rasengan Uzuhiko as i see it: The basis of the rasengan is outputting chakra at a fixed rate and then rotating that chakra violently. In this case the earths chakra is the base chakra of the rasengan and the earths spin is the rotation. Its a never ending rasengan because the earth wont run out of chakra or stop spinning. Boruto hits you with that and its like you get hit by a rasengan that will never dissappear. Although it seems that the effect is mostly internal. Here is where im not sure: I think the chakra disturbs the targets chakra to run in a different direction and the target will have to try to maintan the normal flow. But by doing that he needs to use and control the chakra and so his chakra will run out before the earths and he will then die.

Still have to point out, I don't think the Kamui eyes work differently. I think for plot reasons Kakashi never thought of Kamuing himself into the Kamui dimension because if he had, he would've noticed everything Obito was storing in the dimension so Kishimoto just made Kakashi not do it. That or he forgot to limit what Obito could do with it cause Obito blatantly Kamuis things outside of just himself multiple times. He uses it to save Sasuke from Danzo, to fight Danzos minions and to enhance his fire blast.

Kakashi could see on a cellular level too if im not mistaken he saw what happened to kakazu when Naruto actually beat him, although i might be misremembering that, ill go back and watch and edit this if I'm wrong

Question: what happened to Shisui’s eye after it snapped itachi out of the edo tensei control? Or more specifically, is there any chance that another sharingan wielder could find that crow and reprogram the eye in the Boruto era? (The 10 year cooldown is up of it hasn’t been destroyed)

Who else feels like the time travel arc in Boruto was an absolute missed opportunity for Jiraiya to truly know how much his student accomplished. Same with the war arc in Shippuden but in Boruto would’ve been god tier and couldve still been mind wiped at the end of it.

Best at- Genjutsu- Itachi Copy ability- Kakashi Ninjutsu/Taijutsu- Sasuke Mangekyo- Obito Izanagi/Izanami- Danzo Shisui is my favorite character but didn't have enough screen time or lore to really explore his mangekyo. "The most Powerful" NC's got a video on that but the 10 year recharge is insane plus it's not as strong a Tsukyomi illusion wise. I know this isn't perfect but this is very literally what Kishimoto wrote. On purpose lol. We also never learned (canon) what Madara's mangekyo ability was. CANONICALLY. Fugaku also probably went hard asf. I think Fugaku is slept on heavily. It was Him, Minato, & Orochimaru for 4th Hokage. He's at least Minato tier, plus he was keeping his mangekyo a secret to prevent the village from accusing him of the 9 tails attack.

If you don't like Shisui probably being the strongest genjutsu user, you can claim that his grandfather (from sarutobi's squad) was even better with genjutsu from some statements about the two (that you covered on your channel)

Something I never liked about the shisui ability, is that people always say it's so strong you don't know its happening... there are plenty of examples of that, I thought the whole point of shisui's ability is that it can control your mind, as in it can change your mind about something, it can make you believe that you truly decided something, effectively changing your personality, like a super easy version of inception, the problem came in when danzo used it and it's effects were detectable by a byakugan, so now it's obviously an active effect, like regular genjutsu, and then we hear that obito did basically the same thing for multiple years to the mizukage, where he wasn't in an active genjutsu, but his decisions were altered and the chakra change was detectable... it's honestly kinda stupid.

itachi did majestic susanoo with kurama nothing would be able to stop him, kurama would have perfect offense and defense, even overkill if you add amaterasu and if put into tsukuyomi

itachi would have the strongest but it would still be balanced. kakashi's is just broken, there is no defense because if itachi tried to use the shield kakshi could either send the shield away or transport the kamui inside the sussanoo

Not completely sure but I’m sure Itachi’s Susanoo didn’t have the Yata Mirror/ Totsuka Blade from the jump because when Orochimaru sees it doesn’t he say how do you have that implying it was a rare hidden artefact and Itachi somehow acquired the Yata mirror/ Totsuka blade and somehow equipped it to his Susanoo

Hold on… Kakuzu still uses regular Jutsu .. His ability to use them all is because of the ability he stole… Which shouldn’t Kakashi also be able to copy that? If not…Does that mean he can’t learn Jutsu like Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu? (If he had the chackra)

I remember you covering that in another video with the possibility of reverse summoning yourself back from one of Kaguya's self created dimensions. And since those are most definitely not on earth since they are realms she found and build to her own liking, and Sasuke managed to summon his falcon in there it would mean that you could indeed reverse summon yourself back from Tobi's Kamui dimension... Making it not all that op, then again it's slowly dawning on me that you mentioned that whole falcon dilemma in a plothole video so there is that... I answered myself I guess 😂
