I really hope they won't stop with this DLC, I hope they make at least some more, no matter how small. Something like Invasion Trails or similar stuff :D

well , depends on if they remember to keep their mittens of the basic product they can make dlc scenarios or campaigns all they wish for it ..but considering how they kept burrowing deeper into the shallow crap they distorted the mechanics to fit with ever since going 3d for the last ..decade.. at least , just seeing the word dlc in the same sentence like ''final free content'' as if polishing the basic product is optional rather then obligatory to earn the title 'remaster' makes me suspicious :/

@@Amoth_oth_ras_shash Don't need to speculate or be suspicious, just look at it. The Definitive Edition released last year and is well reviewed. It was polished and complete, so I don't know why you're saying as if they haven't finished polishing the basic product. This is just a new DLC, which also people seem okay with because the DLC they're selling for the DE is like less than $3.

They need to add more resources - honey, clothing (wool) and maybe vegetables (carrots, cabbages?)

@@navinkumarpk86 sadly that cannot be allowed, considering all the other things the studio turned to 'standard' for its ip when it added those things to its 3d titles ...no tempering from source products mechanics & content can be tolerated just like larger maps or scripts to leet players set what ever size they want etc be on the same lvl like adding trading potential between players in the 'trade' sense rather then the 'tribute' sense , or honey , vegetables and other historic resources for it being added be something i delight in ..when done WITHOUT any of the 3d baggage such as instead of capability to build x distance from military units or denied to do if hostiles is y distance near hamfisting in arbritrary 'regions' crap wich stuck with all the 3d titles ever since stronghold 2 no any additions has to be restricted to stand alone dlc , no tempering with the content can be tolerated for the original product polishing for modern os or one risks it turning from 'stronghold remaster' to ''another clone of their 3d crap wearing the scalped face of the first 2d title'' :/

The stealth mission reminded me of that Spanish game Commandos, albeit a bit more simple. I think there was a medieval themed Commandos game, I think Robin Hood which was neat. There was also that western themed one now that i think of it.

Desperados might be what you are thinking of. Last one (3 IIRC) is amazing gameplay, story and characters. Well worth playing.

It wont have skirmish,devs already confirmed so i see little point in it.

Yeah that's why it's only got 80% positive on Steam. With skirmish and AI it'd probably be 90%. That is why most are hoping they do this for Crusader, which already has a skirmish and AI base. Oh and just in case people are wondering, the original never had skirmish either. No version of Stronghold 1 has skirmish.

@@GamerZakh well not stronghold one no , but stronghold crusader 1 hade it i am a bit worried they much with how building area works in it though if remastering that one to :/ i'd love if they made it as simple as ''can build in x range of your soldiers , provided no hostile ones is near'' ...but so concerned if they touch any mechanics they do something idiotic like hamfisting that idiotic railroading 'regions' crap they been addicted to for every 3d title into it.

INSPECTION TIME ; CARRY ME FORTH TO JUDGE IF A GEM BEEN MUTILATED OR POLISHED WITH RESPECT FOR NEW DISPLAYS ZAKH! do hoppe it shows to be good, so love to buy it but.... considering the last DECADE of the firefly studio going deeper and deeper into the shallow crap they added when going 3d makes me hearing/seeing the word 'dlc' before the basic product has its polish finished makes me hackles rise slightly from the start :/

Focusing on this Definitive Edition, to be clear, the basic product was polished and finished. The DLC and free additions is content beyond that. History aside, this is the most successful and popular thing from Firefly in the last decade you're talking about. There's a reason why it's 80+% positive on Steam. People asked them to redo the first game, so they did what people asked and turns out people love it.

@@GamerZakh finely hade time to watch ,and looks good so pleased with that though yes it looked decently polished of the bat but considering all one wants is for an already finished product to be polished for new systems it be expect to be solid right away ,so the studios words of ''we do more' honestly was more a worry then a positive it was part of my concern that they start muck with its mechanics not just enhancing but lobotomising them and force various changes from their 3d 'era' into it along with visual polish as if cosmetics where the thing that kept people rather playing it for decades instead of their newer 3d titles as part of the reason for such a constant 'remaster the first one' desire i suspect is well... as i stated before , ever since they ventured into 3d a few but crucial basics from the first game sandbox nature where sacrificed on the altar of 'orchestrated experience needs railroad' , a good example being the change from the 2d of ''hostiles prevents building , there is no arbitrary 'your' region in the map'' ...vs the 3d of ''and here is the pre designated region of 'your' castle etc and zack.. never change XD comparing how you handle assets in more rts heavy indirect economy/city building games vs the ones like pharaoh is priceless , a tip for stronghold 1 though remember ladders can be put agenst walls but not towers they are to high
