Honestly I feel like freshman year is the easiest year to be new because there are people that also don’t know anyone also and sophomore , junior, and senior year they already made up their group of friends but it may just be perspective 🤷🏻‍♀️

sameee girl, I'm transferring highschools too and I'm antisocial as well, but I guess you should go to school earlier than when it opens and if you see other kids ask them if they have classes with you and make sure you sit next to them in class. introduce yourself to them and don't introduce too much or too less.

Try talking to some of your classmates on the first week, like don't isolate yourself because your shy or sumn, and then just casually bring up lunch, like ask them where they're gonna have lunch or if you can sit with them. That's cool because if you wait a long time to start talking with ppl it will be harder to make friends because they will probably have their group of friends formed at that time. And if you can talk with your classmates at the first week it will be cool for u because they know ur nice and chill and don't worry because I'm sure you're not the only new kid at your classes. You can talk to the new kids as well bc they're probably as scared and lost as you! Oh and don't panic if you do eat lunch by yourself, it's not as bad as we all think it is and no one is judging you for that (well if someone does judge u just for eating by yourself then they're kinda dumbasses because it's no big deal) I hope this helps I was a freshman last year so I kinda did that and I was close to making friends but then I stopped going to school so I'm back at it again this year n I'm scared too 😔👊
