@@patrickmooney7459 I've seen Foxy live twice and while I LOVE their albums, both times Eric was breathless, scattered and vocally weak and it kills me because I know how could he can be. On the other hand the times I've seen Luke, he's been perfect. Every time.
He's certainly been influenced by Freddie, but if you want to hear Freddie's voice again (or the closest thing to it) check out Marc Martel's videos. :)
I’m a pretty big Queen fan that always believed there was no singer good enough to cover one of their songs and do it justice. The first song I ever heard by the Struts was “kiss this” on the radio. Before the song was done I was like, alright, this that dude!
The first time I saw these guys back in November 2018, I had been a fan for only about three days. I was so new to their music that I didn’t know any of their songs or the lyrics, but it was an absolutely fantastic show. I’ve always thought that Luke is like the love child of Freddie Mercury and Dr Frank N Furter, and the Queen influence is undeniable with these guys. I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing them cover Queen in the five times that I’ve seen them, but I would so love to. They totally nailed this cover, and I’m so glad that it exists. If anyone reading this is on the fence about seeing them live, this is your sign to go do it as soon as possible. Amazing band, and even more amazing shows.

I was at this show, in fact I was probably right behind the cameraman cause I had the most awesome spot right in front of Jed. 😍 This was one of the best shows I went to in 2019.
Im in love. Tears in my eyes. Yes the covers are amazing but their songs are AMAZING too. Im so grateful they are confident enough to cover other artists. What a gift they are to us all.

Luke Spiller is so much more than a Freddie clone though... his range of pop is great and the band covers the musical styles of Dandy Warhols, Stereophonics or MUSE... great to see a new band taking the best of the past, mixing it all together, and giving us an energetic and musical performance in everything they do.
