Great job presenting the Subaru. You are a natural at presenting vehicles with an organic improv vibe and knowledge and passion for cars. Love the elephant in the room line of the screen lol. I am a Subaru Forrester owner and Subaru fan. You did a fair job presenting the Subaru style. Speaking of style, great fashion style!
Blind Spot - noticing it late - instead just point out the sides have the radar unit under the skin. I thought it would not be important when I first was looking at the features (lower model on the Elantra deleted it and I thought nothing about it); BUT I love that feature now as it works "full power" if I'm signaling and full intend to start changing lane - it also "goes nuts" if you are backing up and someone is coming - new refresh Elantra apparently even does more to "loose its mind" if you are just not seeing something and it is trying to get your attention.
Thanks for the review girls! I've been toing some research on these two as I'm shopping for a new suv. I love the seltos and all the gadgets, especially the SX Turbo, but have to say that Subaru looks more reliable from a mechanical perspective.
I test drove both of these, and my feeling was the kia was that pretty package that wows you at first. But driving these two cars back to back, I was shocked how different they drove. The subaru had a much more solid feel. it was quieter. Handled better and took rough roads better. It just felt higher quality to my wife and I. And she was going to buy the seltos, and decided on the crosstrek. The other bonus was the real all wheel drive system on the subaru, and resale value is much better
I looked at the wrong Subaru - thought they were like $60,000 - they were very comparable to like the Jetta and Civic pricing back in 2021 when I was looking. Kind of kicked myself afterward as Subaru is (or was) very well priced but I did not know it.
My 2023 Sorento SX Prestige was in the body shop for 2 weeks after been rear ended I got it back this morning had a 2022 Subaru Forster as a rental and I hated the infotainment screen it’s clunkyness was annoying me glad my Sorento is back
I don't know, that Seltos appears to be sweating during the compare. The turbo is faster, but the gas mileage is more like a V8 -- what's up with that. Resale value?
Loving my 2024 Gravity grey Seltos S. Traded my 2022 Starbright yellow. What a difference 2 years made as far as improvements. Absolutely hated the dual clutch transmission. I'm not feeling the transmission in the new one at all.
Love Subaru. I had an ‘18 Outback and it was an amazing car in the snow! Unfortunately did not have any snow this winter so I do not know how well my ‘23 Tucson Limited would compare.
@@BrantfordKia my Outback had the 3.6! That motor was nicknamed the beast by my salesperson! I subsequently nicknamed my Outback “Subie beast” and it was always fun to drive!!!
Subaru 👍. Japanese automobiles may not always be better in terms of aesthetic, electronic features, power etc., but I will always pick them over another maker. ☺ Nice comparison though.
@@rylans.5365 the more flushed/flat emblems along with them doing more blacked out badging on the Hyundais and KIA are way more modern and better looking.
@@jgadiaz nobody implied this. Ppl discuss all kinds of lil details about cars and what they like and dont like. But I even prefaced my comment mentioning that this was probably a more "silly" nitpick. 😝
