As a former dancer, I can say that doing this is EXTREMELY difficult. To do so with precision, for extended periods of time, and still be able to go in a straight line is astounding.

I should really consider recording myself doing this same thing just with my headphones in and moving at much higher rotation speed, I can maintain my spinning for around 40-ish minutes or so depending on how long I want to go and to make it even funnier I do this in a medium sized kitchen and have been for the last 16 or so years. Have you ever heard of frission? If you combine spinning with frission and head tilting while spinning you can make yourself have this incredible sensation that is difficult to describe. I think I might actually record myself doing this, lol.

Was honoured and priveleged to see Dervishes in Istanbul a few years ago, jaw dropping and beautiful... I'm not a religious man myself, but can't help feeling if other faiths celebrated with a bit more dancing n music, the brothers and sisters would be less likely to be shooting the shite out each other... @@markelbasabelopez5772 God is objective, humans are subjective. Once humans try to put their own subjective feelings and logic and apply it to religion this is where corruption comes from. My point is that this form was never practised by those jn the early religion and the prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him said that every newly-invented matter in this religion is a misguidance, and every misguidance is in the hell-fire. So we are not allowed to make things up about Allah even if we believe it is something good.
@markelbasabelopez5772
@markelbasabelopez5772 2 года назад
@@zoomermcboomer4771 I understand your point. And also, in my experience, new forms of touching, experiencing and living in communion with God have come through times. I think a wise sage would approve them as long as they serve the purpose of living with God, and never of course for bypassing true responsibility and connection. There are many ways to climb the mountain, and as long as they reach you to the top, they're useful. This is why many have left Christianity in the last decades and moved towards Asian religions, because many Christian priests wouldn't let their adepts meditate and do other practices that are useful to live with God, but not contemplated by their paradigmatic view. In my experience, the best way to find out if something's right or not in a case is to ask God directly and very humbly. Of course, you need to have cultivated a relationship with Him through time to be able to hear Him properly. Blessings and peace, brother.

Whenever the Whirling Dervishes or Sufism enshrine their connection to Allah like this, narrow minded dogmatic Muslim people always come out of the woodwork to trash them. The men are Muslim people who clearly explain this is an act to commune 100% with Allah. (In another video) The dancer talks about sharing God’s love from the sky and the earth in the way the hands are held during this form of prayer, to all people. The point of Islam/faith should be about being filled with God’s love and to share that love with other living beings. It disappoints and depresses me over and over again when Muslim people trash these great Muslim practitioners simply because they seek a direct relationship with the divine that isn’t hierarchical or dogmatic. They bow to each other as a form of respect. Its non-Muslim people who seem to actually understand this and give them the respect & reverence they deserve. Spiritually Swirl On, Sirs.

@bo7953
@bo7953 5 лет назад
@@mehmetyilmaz2493 Assimilation does not work that way. It's not like you keep groups of vegetables in separate boxes in the same fridge. It's a mix. Turkey Turks have Turkic genes in them among anything else and of all these ethnicities it is our right and actually ability to choose to stick with one. Central or Western Asia are not "ethnicities". Comparing them makes no sense, when you break those genes down, 4-5 ethnicities stand out, one of which is Turkic. The thing is, though, we are who we choose to be among all this. You see many Europeans who, although they are equally a mix of many things, call themselves x by nation, and jew by ethnicity, as if it was the only one that defines them. One needs to ask why this is so and why the hypocrisy in politically determining what you are and pseudo-scientifically telling others who they are. Western approach towards history, linguistics and even anthropology are laughably political AF, and warrants ruthless attacks. And the fact remains: Well we don't and won't give a flying fck about our genetic makeup, we are Turks of Turkey and we don't negotiate it. I'll disown all my 4 ethnicities if some weasels think that's how they are going to divide my nation and conquer my country. Fuck yall.

The blonde blue eyed people are indeed assimilated just like the very dark skinned are assimilated (romani, Kurds Armenians etc) Your wrong its exaggerated figures are you sayinh regions like kars are kurdish? Kurds only live in south east. North east and central Anatolia is entirely Turkmen descended. Bulk of Turkmen migration happened during seljuk period. Spin around (like a whirling dervish) clockwise(yang northern hemisphere/yin southern hemisphere) or counterclockwise (yin northern hemisphere/yang southern hemisphere) (torus spinning). Chant any of these mantras 3 times each while facing east, west, north(in the southern hemisphere) or south(in the northernhemisphere): "ieouams", "a-u-m", and "om". Sleep with your head placed east, west, north(in the southern hemisphere) or south(in the northern hemisphere). Perform the 5 Tibetan rites. Play music at 528 hz.

It's all about gravity...man. The heavy skirt, the heavy head gear...and the spin! A few puffs prior might help too. Very cool , havnt seen it much in the west yet, but who knows, we've seen it all from Bikram to Ram Dass to Maheshi Yogi, in any order. Everyone offerns something, take and leave. I guess its been open, but try not to be a fool.
