Just installed it 12 hours ago, I had a sulfur rating of 5 or greater (from another water company who said they could not help). 1000% difference in 12 hours. Will finish the job today by installing the mister and replacing the filter. This saved me at least $2000. I live in an RV with my own well. Works like a charm. Thanks guys.
I purchased my sulfur eliminator deluxe on 4/12/2019 and it's been great. I DO CHANGE THE FILTER 2 TIMES A YEAR JUST BECAUSE I FEEL BETTER DOING IT THAT WAY. MY DAUGHTER TESTED THE WATER FOR A SCIENCE EXPERIMENT 2 YEARS AGO AND THE WATER WAS A LITTLE HARD BUT IT WAS GOOD TO DRINK! TASTES GREAT!
@@thesulfureliminator2012 I do have it on, I am noticing the smell is coming back in a couple of faucets, I am going to shock my well again and see what happens. It was a new well so hopefully it just needs to be shocked again and this can maintain it.
I have a newly drilled well 400 ft. It has a asphalt like smell from day one. I chlorinated the well and it was fine for about a month. The smell is coming back, do you think this is some type of Sulphur? I have almost no iron and about 100 ppm hardness.
You hardness is extremely hard. You are a 14 on the hardness scale. You will need a water softener installed for your hardness. Sulfur normally smells like rotten eggs. When was your well drilled? I wonder if you are smelling the glue from the fittings that were put on at the tank.
The blue filter that stays in the unit for a year is a silver injected bacteria filter. It is a sting filter but doesn't induce growth. Hope this helps
Hey Terry if you have a check valve you will have to remove it. The spigot has to be able to run 24/7. We do control the water flow through the nozzle head.
Hi, The house we purchased in WI this past fall is on a well and the well water smell (sulphur?) - which seems to be more noticeable with the hot water - is hard to get used to. This product sounds very interesting - but since we live in WI and our well head is outside I'm thinking it would freeze up during the winter. What do you suggest?
@@everythingmotors6509 I did replace the magnesium rod with a powered anode rod (Corro-Protec CP-R Titanium Powered Anode Rod from Amazon) - and so far it seems to have eliminated the hot water sulfur smell. However, if the smell returns I will likely install this well aeration system.
@@everythingmotors6509 the problem is not your anode rod in the well. If it was then every house in America would have a sulfur problem. The problem is sulfur bacteria has built up in the well. You can take the anode rod out but you are applying a band-aid to the problem! It will return. You can only get rid of sulfur through aeration!
I have a house in the Mass. Berkshires . Would this airration system freeze up in the winter , I,m thinking it would . Or is there a way to install inside ...Your feed back please . Thankyou
The product has to be installed on the well. To prevent it from freezing you will wrap some insulation around the well, sulfur eliminator and your spigot. Then you will take a well cover it can be an insulated well cover that looks like a fake rock or you can take a trash can it doesn't matter and put over everything. The well will breathe at 55 degrees and it won't freeze. We sold over hundreds to people who live in Ohio, New York, Maryland, Michigan etc.
David this unit is 100% getting rid of sulfur. You can only truly get rid of sulfur through aeration which is what this unit is doing. We are aerating the sulfur at the source which is the well. As for the iron, this unit will help with iron because the unit has a filter in it. The filter in place collects the iron so the iron doesn't clog up my nozzle head,
Hey Brandon it doesn't really matter if the well is shallow or deep. What does the top of the well head look like? Please visit our website at www.wellwaterstinks.com or call the office at 336-685-0712 Thanks!
@@tomevanov1515 he explains how the unit works, he shows you where you vent hole is on your well seal, he shows you where to put the nozzle head, he shows you where to hook up the stainless hose. I've had thousands of people say this video is very helpful to them.
Just chlorine your well , theres plenty how to vids on here , then go to homedepot to the irrigation dept. get a misting valve & fittings to connect to a water hose & run in well so water will curculate constantly 4-6 gallons pr hour pump will only turn on shortly every few hours , problem solved
Hey Jabo chlorine is not an effective way to kill sulfur bacteria. It will come back every few weeks and will have a chlorine buildup on the inside of your casing walls. Chlorine is also not good on a weekly basis for drinking water. Do you own a well company? Do you know the effects of chlorine? You are giving someone harmful information.
