I love how literally the interaction between them is kind of similar to what they have in the show. Like the 3 boys talking like bros and then Lola just being the sweetest

@@ania5038 Absolutely, the show was superb. I haven't read the books and found the show randomly while checking on prime. The choice of cast is excellent and they all acted so well. And, on top of that, they all look very good and also humble and funny. Hope they make the second season soon. One of the best shows I have watched recently.

Sean is loud in the series and actually the loudest among the four in real life. 😂 Chris' the quietest one in the show and actually really shy in real life. 🙈 I think the characters they are in "The Summer I Turned Pretty" aren't really far different from who they are in real life.

It was about time we had a show that's lighthearted, healthy, and with good summer vibes. Even though there's drama, which duh is obvious otherwise it wouldn't be a good story, this isn't another "toxic teen drama" kinda of thing. It's a beautiful coming of age story, in a world that's very inviting. I wish I could spend my summers in Cousins, growing up with these characters :)

Finding out Sean went to SUNY Purchase made me so happy b/c I have so many friends going there next year, and hope to go there once I get my life together a little. So many talented ppl go there wow. Hmm I think Chris & Sean seems pretty comfortable. Lola and Gavin r the ones who seems to be holding back more. But they might just be more introverted than Chris & Sean. I get it because I’m kinda introverted too, but that doesn’t mean I’m uncomfortable. Overall, they seems like a nice and genuine cast tbh

Ahhh I love their friendship! 💖 And I really appreciate these casts coz all of them got background in acting. Like Lola is currently in Uni right? To be an Actress. Same with Sean, then Chris graduated from Pace & Gavin was the young Damon from VD. Talented young people.
