Book of Atheist, chapter 8 verse 69: "And he who arrogantly tells you that you must believe, even without evidence, is living in denial and ignorance. Ask upon him, why out of the thousands of man made gods, he believes blindly in the one who his family has told him to believe in. Anthony Felix Quran, chapter 2 verse 256: "Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error: whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most trustworthy hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah heareth and knoweth all things." There's no "you must believe" in Islam, whether you believe in god or not that's up to you, and whether you believe or not that doesn't change the fact that this universe didn't happen by coincidence and definitely didn't make itself.

@@thevigilant266 you have no evidence to prove whether the universe made itself or not. If you believe the universe had to be made because everything needs something to create it , who created the creator? And who is the creator.. Allah, god , the juju on the mountain? You can throw as many quotes from a fictiouus book all you want but it doesn't convince rational thinkers.
@thevigilant266
@thevigilant266 3 года назад
Anthony Felix First of all, you need to be deeply thinking in the rational in order for you to come to a conclusion that there's a creator. YES, there are millions of people who believe in god just because they grew up in a religious environment, but that's not all-time case. There are thousands of atheists who reverted to Islam after deep studies and deep thinking. Second of all, if the creator is created then how that makes him a creator? The universe has to be caused by an uncaused being. Look, you can call yourself a scientist or rational or whatever you wanna call yourself, but you must know that rational people are open minded to discuss other people respectfully and understand different point of views of others. Coming towards people arrogantly won't do you any good, it only consumes your credibility. For the sake of discussion, can you explain how and why this universe existed?

The Qur'an is God's Words: In the name of Allah(God), The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful. All besides those believers who have pure faith, irrespective of which religious background they claim to have come from, merely a single sign would suffice them to believe in the existence of One God, whether it be a sign concerning a scientific phenomenon or any other sign. Where as, on the other hand, there are people who would never believe even if a thousand signs are presented to them, such people would never accept faith and as such they are the Rejectors; there may be a third sect/group/category of people who may be convinced if proper efforts are made, either by means of science and technology, or by reasoning and with logic or by any other technique. As today is the age of science and technology, the best approach we have is the use of scientifically proven and established facts, excluding hypotheses and theories (which lack solid evidence) in order to convince an atheist or an agnostic or any other individual who may not believe that the Qur'an is the revelation of God, as no human being could ever mention such scientific facts in the Qur'an, 14 centuries back which the humanity has unveiled/discovered very recently,with the help of rapidly growing technology and the advances made by the modern scientific world. Majority of the people who disagree with the fact that the Qur'an has been sent down by God, revealed to the last and final messenger and servant of God, i.e. prophet Mohammad (pbuh), when asked about the reason they disbelieve, what they come up with is that they falsely claim that the Qur'an must have been written by prophet Mohammad himself as they do not have any better explanation for not believing in the Qur'an or Allah. With the help of mathematics, we can refute their baseless claim (that Muhammad is the author of the Qur'an, they even fail to realise that he was an Ummi,i.e. he was unlettered/illiterate!). Nevertheless,even for the sake of an argument, let us be kind enough to give them a benefit of doubt, and say that may be, prophet Muhammad wrote the Qur'an (though we never agree!). Now we shall refute their false claim with the help of what we know in mathematics as 'The Probability Theory'. Probability is basically concerned with the likelihood or the chance of something happening/taking place or not happening for which we make certain guesses/flukes or predictions at random and calculate the chance of our choice or guess coming true as a number or percentage. Probability has a range of 0-1. Having a probability of 0 implies the impossibility of the occurence of the event we are dealing with, on the other hand, probability of 1 means that the event is sure to occur, thus affirming a 100% possibility of the occurrence of the event we are dealing with. Any number in between would indicate that the event may either occur or not. For example,if you toss or flip a coin(fair), there are(a total of), two possibilities, it may either land up with a head or tail, whatever choice you make the mathematical chance/probability of your guess being rightat random is 1 out of 2,i.e. 1/2 or 50%. Further, if you have a die (having 6 faces) and you roll it, the chance of your guess-number coming on the top is 1/6 as there are a total of 6 distinct choices to make. Similarly,if you roll the die 2 times in succession/consecutively or roll two dice simultaneously (both yield the same result, these are termed as 'independent events' meaning that the two (or more) events have no influence/impact on one another; they yield independent results) what you'll see is, the probability of both your choices being right at the same time is merely (1/6)×(1/6) i.e. 1/36 which is < 3%. Now,if you roll the die 3 times successively,the chance of you making the right choice all three times,just at random is (1/6)×(1/6)×(1/6) i.e. 1/216 which is < 0.5%. Let us now consider the compound event of tossing the coin 2 times and rolling the die 4 times,the probability of you making the correct choices all 6 times is therefore (1/2)×(1/2)×(1/6)×(1/6)×(1/6)×(1/6)=(1/2)^2 × (1/6)^4 =(1/4)×(1/1296)=1/5184 which is ~ 0.02%. Let me generalize the method for you. If you repeat an experiment for n different times and all of which must deal with independent events as in our case here, fortunately; and you have a probability of, say 'p' for each of the individual events and of course 0 < p < 1. Now you want to calculate the probability of you making the correct choice all 'n' times i.e. each time you making the right choice without a single mistake.. It is p^n,i.e. 'p' raised to the power of 'n'. For those who are good at maths, they can readily see that this number, p^n quickly reaches 0 when |p| < 1 and n is let increase!! Praise be to Allah SWT,all the Qur'anic verses that talk about scientific phenomena can be modelled as ' the independent events' in this very analysis of ours. And the holy Qur'an contains more than 1,000 (out of more than 6,000 verses in total) verses which speak about science. And more than 800 of which have already been supported by established scientific facts. 1. For example, the Qur'an says that the light of the moon is not its own light but rather, it is the reflected light of the sun (the moon reflects the light from the sun onto the earth), for this one people (at the time of the revelation of the Qur'an,i.e. at the time of the prophet) could have made two choices (if they were asked, hypothetically) i.e. the light of the moon could be the light of its own or it could be the borrowed light of the sun. 2. Similarly, the Qur'an talks about the spherical shape (more accurately, the geo-spherical shape, as the earth is slightly flattened at the poles and slightly bulging out at the equatorial region,i.e. the 'circle of maximum diameter'). People could have thought of various shapes for the earth such as flat, triangular,rectangular etc. So, lfor this particular one, the number of choices would be more than 2. 3. The Qur'an states that the Sun also rotates (about its own axis)...people couldn't even have thought of this, at the time of the prophet as this one is a very very recent discovery, we came to know about this hardly a few decades earlier. So even for this particular one, there would be 2 choices to make, the Sun may either rotate or not! (For the sake of argument only!) 4. The Qur'an talks, in a nutshell, about the birth of our universe which the scientists today call the Big Bang, it may be right or wrong. ..So for this too, we would have 2 choices. 5. The Qur'an talks about the interstellar matter, called 'plasma' by the scientists. Again, could be right or wrong. ..So 2 choices for this too. 6. The Qur'an states that our universe has been expanding. Again, could be right or wrong. .So for this too, we have 2 choices. And so on.. The Qur'an talks about scientific phenomena,over and over again, for more than 1,000 times. Each verse which talk about a scientific phenomenon, can be attributed a number of choices we can think of, as above. These choices vary, from 2 (which is the least/minimum number of choices) to larger numbers, for instance,in the case of the earth, we could think of more than a dozen of possible shapes! Let's restrict ourselves to 2 (as the number of choices), clearly seeing that even the least number of choices would give us the desired result and if we consider more number of choices, we get to the result even more quickly. As a challenge to the people, I'll prove my logic even with the least number of choices as the Qur'an, with no doubts, is the book of God. Proceeding with 2 choices as the flukes/guesses for each of the verses which speak about science, what we find is, the probability or the mathematical chance of one making the correct choice all 800 times, i.e. making the right choice for each of the verses each and every single time is... Using, probability = p^n with p = 1/2 and n = 800... Probability(P) = (1/2)^800 = 1/(2)^800 The number 2^800, i.e. 2 raised to the power of 800 is a very huge number though it may not appear so, so huge that the number 1/(2)^800 is literally negligible and is considered 0 (zero/nill) in practical mathematics. The number of choices that could be thought of,for the scientific verses of the Qur'an is not merely 2 as we have used above!! We could've used more than 2 choices in which case we'd have arrived at the answer of 0 even more quickly. So,even in the most probable case (using the least number of choices, i.e.2), the probability of the scientific verses being written in the noble Qur'an by (any) a human being is 0. The Qur'an,thus,can never be the work of a human. It must have come from a divine source. The only being Who could mention such facts in the Qur'an must be the Creator Himself Who possesses All The Knowledge. Peace be on you all.

Agreed, but we muslims has the highest probable answer based on observation, reason and rational deductions even though we have never seen outside of universe, for the same approach we believe our brain does exist, or our father is indeed our biological father, and believe we all have ancestors eventhough we never really see our brain, or never go for DNA test, or never see our ancestors. The existence of a creator of universe is not the only things human believe using reasons, basically almost everything we believe in life without really seeing or experiment ourselves, rather we believe on others through observations and reasoning.

Other religion concept of being a powerful creator is contradicting and confusing, like god 3 in 1 but equal to 1, or there are many gods in human form with attributes that doesnt resemble and all-knowing and all powerful attribute of a creator who able to create a complicated massive powerful system yet were finely tuned and perfectly ordered for its purpose, which then able to produce life within the universe. LOL. A Tasbeeh is not an "innovation". It's a just another way to count the ritualistic praises. "Innovation" has to do with introducing a ritual or a belief that has no basis in the religion. A few other points: it's not that we as human beings can say with certainty that something cannot come from nothing. It's that it is metaphysically impossible prove either way, because in order to prove that something came from nothing, one would have to know how to distinguish between something coming from something else (contingency) which we can witness, and something coming from nothing which we cannot. It is also inexplicable and therefore irrational and so is completely outside of the realm of rational debate. It's effectively magic. If someone believes that something can come from nothing, there is no arguing with them, because they can effectively believe in anything, e.g., if a coin was flipped and instead of landing on its head or tail, it turned into a bird instead, as Hijab made the point. Which leads to the main point of the conversation: the explanation for the witnessed causal regularity (or teleology) that exists in Reality. This atheist effectively has no answer: "it is what it is". In other words, it's inexplicable to him, which means he effectively must submit to the irrationality of his position.

Isn't it ironic that you find it ironic when someone is being honest about not knowing an answer to something. Kinda beats being a lying asshat... Muslim: How did the universe come to existance Atheist: We don't know yet, we might never know, but just because we dont know you don't have the right to claim GOD did it either. Muslim: Well God did do it, it says so in this book Atheist: Well how do you know that book is correct Muslim: Well because, It's the word of GOD Atheist Well how do you know its the word of GOD Muslim: Because it says so in the book. Listen, When you have any evidence for a creator let us atheist know. We don't claim to know absolute truth so we might be intrigued at your information. Design argument is not a good argument to use: For one, you have to demonstrate before hand that It was GOD who designed us. So before you can even make the claim of design you have to prove your God exist and did design us. Then we have the problem of what design actually is, or rather how do you know its design since this is the only universe you have ever seen, the only earth, the only me, you.. ETC.. So how the hell can you know what design is if you have nothing to compare it to? We know a watch, a boat, a book has a maker because we have instances of watches, books, and boats being made by their creator and we can compare them to other watches, boats, and books as well. How many instances of design by God have we witnessed that is not in that crappy book of yours? I'll save you the time in typing the number ZERO for you.. So, how did the Universe came into existence? I can honestly tell you right now that WE DO NOT KNOW, but you don't either.

I decline having any civil conversation with you on the grounds that it is impossible to have any type of conversation with you about religion or islam. Quoting the quran is as pointless as quoting Harry Potter as proof of wizards or quoting the bible as proof of Jesus. Also, just because a book has some scientific fact does not make it any more factual than another book with different TRUE Scientific facts. The Quran also states that Muhammad flew to heaven on a winged horse. No sir, we cannot have any type of discussion when your mind is already closed off to anything other than what your book of fairy tales says. I won't waste my time with someone who is that close minded. But hey, if you have proof of your God, I'd sure love to see it. Your book doesn't count as proof.

Michel Roque DNA is proof of an intelligent designer. Code must have a coder if you are computer literate. The earth and its perfect distance from the sun just in the habitable zone is proof that you are being protected. Death is proof that you are returning to someone. The universe's low entropy state (stability) is proof that it is being protected. Order cannot come from disorder as every physicist will tell you. If ppl dont believe in these as signs then even if God showed hismelf physically to them they still wouldn't believe he existed. Isn't it ironic how every civilisation has worshipped something in one way or another. We are spiritual beings gifted with intellect
@SunnyDementia

That's the point. This is the way logic works. If you make a positive statement, an affirmative statement, you are burdened to prove it. We start with nothing. How did the universe come into being? You say God. We say prove it. If you respond with prove that it wasn't, that's fallacious. Not many people will say with 100% certainty that there is no way possible a creator created everything. Most atheists are agnostic atheists. You can't prove a god created the universe, and we won't believe what cannot be proven.

Well, if we were to know every single variable in the universe we could literally predict the future. But since we are not all knowing and we are limited we cannot factor in the variables in an equation and utilize that. This dictates that there is no such thing as random, because what is random to you is basically unpredictable. If i had all the variables at hand, again, i will be able to know what will happen. For instance, if i knew the charge of each ball on a table, the friction, the magnetic field, the electric field of anything surrounding all of these balls, the weigh of all these balls and their gravitiational pull to each other and the force that im going to hit the first ball with, and its angel and air resistance and and and.. i will surely predict the future without a mistake. Therefore, our universe is set with finite amount of variables that put the universe in its order. This shows that there is a creator and a code to his creation i believe.

No, if he asked Mohammed to explain it further, it could be explained easily. Which is that everything needs a creator. Just as a table needs a creator, a universe needs one. Forget the atheist and the big bang. My argument is, If you are born in a Muslim family , you will very likely to be practising Muslim all your life, a hindu will be hindu all his life, a jew will be jew all his life, a Shia will be shi'a all his life.Another good example is, everyone that comes to speakers corner claims to be right and the other person is wrong. Exactly like this video, hijab is is clearly born in a Muslim family hence he is preaching Islam, and the other guy was born in a non Muslim family who's parents was most likely non practising parents Hence this white guy doesn't even believe in God. So basically through the perspective of muslims, all practising Muslim go heaven but the rest go hell. How is that fair?? The Muslim born child has an advantage as his influences of his parents, siblings to brush off on to him. Guaranteed this uploader is born in a Muslim family, it is clear just by reading the name of the you tube channel. Therfore It's a never ending circle. Pointless debate.

The entire conversation on the topic of "nothing" is something us as humans most likely cant understand and cant comprehend, so it practically goes against all religious arguments that something cant come out of nothing. We simply cannot understand "nothing" , end of story.

@@harissahab2743 its impossible to have nothing because by describing something as nothing, you have described it , and therefore it is now something.

A typical atheist contention is: If we are saying that God is independent and necessary, why cannot we say the same thing for the universe? This is a misplaced contention for the following reasons. Firstly, there is nothing necessary about the universe; it could have not existed. Secondly, the components of the universe could have been arranged in a different way. Whether one considers these components to be quarks or some type of quantum field, it still raises the question: Why are they arranged the way that they are? Since a different arrangement of quarks or fields could have existed instead of the collection that does exist, it follows that the universe is dependent.

F the early scholars and tabieen used to cut these beads as it wasn't used by the prophet pbuh and it was used by the Catholics before Muslims.
@96muslimgirl
@96muslimgirl 6 лет назад
it does become an innovation if those beads themselves or the digital counter etc. is being made part of the deen. bid'ah is that which is added in the deen, making it part of the deen. like mawlid, it is made such that those who celebrate see it as a requirement in islam. so they added something new and made it their deen. or giving the tasbeeh beads a certain value in the deen like not letting a menstruating woman touch it (some people think like this, crazy i know). islamic schools, digital quran, tasbeeh etc. is not bid'ah because it is not something that is seen as part of the religion or from within religion. Rather these are tools to make it easy to practice that which is allready in the religion, without changing anything of it.

Atheist is someone who doesn’t believe in God. Could be because they don’t know (how the universe began etc etc) Someone who believes in god also doesn’t know but labels that as ‘It must be god.’ Both the atheist and the believer have access to the same resources as each other on planet Earth, but they both had different upbringings. Vast majority of people who are religious come from religious families... coincidence? Not saying it’s wrong but it’s always good to challenge your thinking.

Mr. Hijab: I don't know, therefore god. Specifically the one and only god that was strangely focussed on one part of the world, and had one of his angels talk to a merchant in a cave. And because I believe (read: 'know') this, I'm going to heaven and you're going to hell to suffer eternal punishment after you die. I'm sure of all this through using my senses, although I could not really see, smell, feel, taste or hear god. Because I know this is an insufficient epistemological method, I use the most reliable source of information anyone could have, namely: "Intuition". Now I'm going to follow my funny tummy to the mosque, because it tells me that the almighty god needs to be thanked and praised for the fifth time today. Have fun not knowing the origin of the universe, you silly unbeliever. Peace.

@@TOn-fx2gr Well, surely we don't come from a literal 'nothing' as in a vacuum devoid of any matter. The first living organisms on earth would've been single cell organisms. How they came into existence nobody really knows, but it is being researched at the moment. If we assume that there would be a god that created the universe, there's still no reason to believe in Islam or Judaism or Christianity or so. Anyone could claim to have spoken with the creator of the universe. and their claims would all have the same level of validity. The religious scriptures do not talk about the process of evolution. They simply claim that god created humans, while completely ignoring the long process of evolution. Like, what was the point of putting Neanderthals on the earth and letting them go extinct after a while?
