I cannot forget what my teacher told us back in grade 1 about using CAN and MAY: Yes you CAN but you MAY not. So I always use May when asking permission.

Modal verbs may express ability, possibility, need or other condition. They are auxiliary verbs of the future and the conditional. modal verbs are not conjugated and do not have time. could, might, may, might, will, shall, should, ought to, must, would. the use of each one of them depends on the form, sense and the person with whom you go when using it, going from the informal to the more formal.
When I first saw this video before my exam I remembered everything in the exam thank you. Thanks to this video I got full marks. Thank you again. many blessings to you
Thanks this helped me so much even I watched more videos but nothing I understand from them ur vid was the only one I understand it and on Sunday is my English assisment
Thank gosh this video wasnt turned to “made for kids” RU-vid has to understand that just because they are learning about school, it doesnt mean they are 3-5 years old.
I could have been learning English about the modal verb. If I was prepared, I would get even better. It should be making more details unless I struggled. I was in high school in my senior year by the time the class started. My grade went into a C, even though I got frustrated. So I graduated in 2018 after struggling with my exam.
@rayyan asad this is not a way to talk to anyone. he doesn't need to go any where because it may be typing mistake but I think u should take classes 'how to talk ' I think in your dictionary golden words are absent please renew your dictionary otherwise in future you will definitely suffer because of your this rude behavior. If you don't know how to respect someone then its better to keep silent otherwise your words may affect others adversely it's my request to u but choice is yours 👍
I dont want unecessary hate, dont want to be prejudjed nor want to ruin your day,but my heart has been aching to say this,by using my right to express my opinions, iwould like to say that i have nothing to say
May I download this and share this to my learners? It will aid them in answering their self-learning modules since we do not have face-to-face classes yet.
Modal verbs are auxiliary verbs that can not function as a main verb, unlike the auxiliary verbs "be", "do" and "have" that can function as a main verb. It is very interesting because in Spanish if we change the verb according to the way you are present in the future and in English the auxiliaries help us, What is the best way to learn English? what is the difference between must and have
both "sit in a chair"and "sit on a chair" are correct( the first, IN, usually implies the chair is comfortable and padded, while ON is used for hard, basic chairs). Also, you MAKE a mistake, not DO. ;)
1 day before exam, And Full marks on modal verbs! And i really dont understand the teacher in my class, but after watching this video, Everything is clear.! Thank youu!
Really great respected sir.would you please make more videos on modals? I hope that you will clear all the doubt related to modal verbs by making videos. It's my humble request to you.I hope you would consider about it . Thanks sir for developing the fantastic videos.💐💐🙏🙏💖💖
To me ...the tone of voice is mpre important ..than formality of words ...being polite ..not asking in a bad way ....i am bialingual and believe me ..ppreguntar respetuosamente para mi siempre dio el mejor resultado
Excellent video, when speaking in a slow English way, it helps us to listen and to be able to understand this topic in a better way since in itself it is not complicated but a little tedious by the similarities of some modal verbs Why do not they explain it a bit in Spanish and then in English?
