@@chitranshsahu6758 - Chris seems to be using a bit of an Italian new yorker accent... So that's not too far off... I think it might be a little corny if he would have done a stereotypical Italian accent... That's why mario doesn't have a lot of voice acted lines in the games. It's only good in small doses. Am hour and a half movie filled with that accent would surely get annoying

Yeah too bad he sounds like a lovably naive Lego construction worker destined to save a family and the Lego verse, instead of a lovably optimistic Italian plumber destined to save a princess and the mushroom verse. If illumination was to cowardly to make an Italian sound Italian (even a non comical accent) I'm afraid of what they were too cowardly to leave out.

I love the idea that Bowsee kidnaps the stars and that each of them are owned by each of the different worlds / kingdoms that we know from Mario games, I love that the penguins and probably the other creatures are a kingdom individual. The textures and effects are really incredible, and seeing where the plot is possibly going, well there Miyamoto, Nintendo

Bowser’s voice is accurate! Mario’s design is perfect despite early leaks saying they don’t like the new look. Most of all, despite not reprising the role of Mario himself, Charles Martinet gets cast billing at least!

I think it’s because Chris Pratt have Mario a Brooklyn-esque accent instead of the usual Italian accent (you can tell because he said here like “heah”).

Yes Mario looks weird. There is something on the uncanny valley going on. I don't think the realistic mustache fits with the cartoony style. His eyes are too small compared to the game design. Something is off on his face.
