Fantastic review, glad you like the pen roll! The natural leather pen rolls (as well as the light brown, dark brown and black ones) are actually made from a (slightly squeaky) Japanese leather. This limited edition series uses an Italian leather which is softer (and doesn't squeak). I also thought I should mention that US customers won't have to pay import duties on these, Canadian rules are stricter, unfortunately.
There’s a blue grey version too (same soft leather). That’s the one I got from Baum Kuchen. I had a hard time deciding between that one and the olive though! Olive is so nice.
I love the olive it’s gorgeous! Do you ever condition the leather or use products on it to protect it or keep it soft? I don’t have any leather products but want to keep them looking great when I do purchase!
