15:10 The dev have said that rare candy in this game will not revive fainted pokemon. 24:31 Memory mushroom can also be used on wild pokemon to get moves that they have on earlier level. 25:40 You can look at item description by hover over the icon of the item, from the summary screen or from top right/left on battle screen. 44:57 Berry will automatically used when the condition applied, like you said, full heal but it happened instantly at that battle instead of waiting for end of battle, and can also be stacked with each type of berries having max 10 stacks. Also there is an item that make berries have a chance to not consumed when used. 56:52 Remember, that you only get full heal + revive only at the end of every 10 waves, no exception.

In mainline games, Rare Candies do revive. In this, they do not.

You can pick memory mushroom to check if theres any moves you want before actually picking the item! You can always back out and pick something else after! And you can check each pokemon! Hopefully that made sense lol

I've found gyrados to be the GOAT in all my runs. Honestly a beast. Not far in to the video so you may have noticed it yourself, but mushroom that bad boi and have him learn ice fang.

Hey reto just a heads up for you, all starter Pokémon have a 10 in all IVs unless you catch one of them or their evolutions. Any Pokémon you catch will almost always have better stats that the starter Pokémon.

For the held items and the reeard items up top(like the golden ball you got) you can find out what they do by mousing over them. Pretty unintuitive when the mouse doesnt work for the rest of the game but for that one part it does lol

12:56 Bro - Yes! Yes you should! Haven't you heard "Gotta catch em all"? I think it's good to catch whatever Pokémon you can just for the fact it fills out your pokedex and allows you to use that Pokémon should you ever choose to. Even if you don't like em, at least you have them. Plus, you still get xp for catching them right? So there's literally no downside. Also, you're severely underestimating Slowking. He's pretty badass. Give him Psychic and Surf and maybe even Ice Beam for coverage and you're gravy baby. Lol

The downside is that its often HP expensive to catch a lot of pokemon in a run which rapidly eats into your money, which becoming broke in a run is a fast way to hit a lose condition. My most successful runs have been ones where Im far pickier about who Im catching and just go for fast OTKs.

This game has such potential that I wouldst be surprised to see it spawn variants/original monster versions. Please keep playing, Retro, it's fun to suffer alongside you and experience the game fresh (and learn the mechanics!). I'd say at the very least it warrants doing the daily since you start in a different location and with a pre-formed team

I grew up with pokemon so I’ve been exposed enough to know the mons before gen 8. It’s so much fun watching your videos because you know just as much :) usually people don’t and just assume wrong stuff, which is fine but a little frustrating to watch

You use egg valchurs to buy eggs in the egg gacha mode to use in your game it should pop up when you tap menu or start icon

In Classic Mode, you can Rare Candy past the level cap up until you get to the final round then it’s advised not to level past that point due to move that the Pokémon has that deals more damage to Pokémon that are over the level cap. You have Gyrados that’s a Mega too. Plus you can de-mega Evolve the Mons too

45:55 I would not recommend catching Finizen as of now. When it evolves into Palafin, its special ability that transforms it into Superman when switching out is not implemented yet [N], leaving it kinda useless. When it does eventually get implemented, teach it Flip Turn for a free switch!

A bit confusing that you only get to see the pokemon's IV when catching them which makes it look that some of them have bad stats even though they're actually a good pokemon no matter the IV. IVs are basically how much extra stats you get on level 100, half that on level 50 and so on so not too much of a difference at early levels

If you find a Max Mushroom, I'm pretty sure the only target for it that you have right now is Charizard, and if you do that form of evolution, you cannot mega evolve it. You could still mega evolve Gyarados though.

The stats when catching are its uv not it true stats if use a bulbapedia app etc to look things up you can see total stat valurs and where they succed in and fail in. Also coil leech seed would of been better than keeping toxic.😊

If you find Charizaridite, make sure it's Y instead of X Mega Charizard X is a physical attacker. Mega Charizard Y is a special attacker. Good luck.

I think theres like a range of levels where lures may be better. But in almost all cases candies are better. Lures can be risky and you cant overlevel that way.

When I saw you play this and realized it’s browser based and I could just PLAY ON MY PHONE 😭🙏🏻 I played all the way through and beat classic mode in 2 days. What an awesome game, would love for this series to stay a while. PS: Cloyster + skill link + icicle spear is absolutely NASTY and I wholly endorse it

If a trainer only has 1 pokemon left mudslap is insane, a couple of mudslaps and the other pokemon won't be able to hit anything

Ok some basic stuff because i still havent beat floor 200. shinies are actually useful in this game, they increase your luck and have a chance to increase the rarity of the rewards after a battle the second to last rival battle has a rayquaza so you need fairy or ice, and the final trainer battle has a mega rayquaza, a legendary, a pseudo, a starter, and two tandom pokemon. also like half are terastalized for some reason. the final battle is eternatus gg
