Thank you. Great lesson again! I love listening to my CCR vinyl and learning these songs. Would love to learn some of Fogerty's "Keep on Chooglin" riffs.
The most interesting thing I found out about a lot of the CCR stuff trying to match sound. Was like the Allman Brothers there were two guitars. A lot of times John would I think play down a full step in the key of D and Tom would have his guitar tune to standard and then they would lend them in together to get that sound.
@@truckerkevthepaidtourist Tom Fogerty's part is the ringing E note you hear on one side. The two chunky rhythm and rhythm-lead parts are John. Here's a question. Do you hear a kick drum on the album track? I sure don't!
@@truckerkevthepaidtourist Creedence had been a studio recording band for years before they were a hit. It's more like they had the money to do as they wished.
It's a Telecaster Plus. It looks like a 1996 to me. The Telecaster Plus also has a scalloped body like a Strat so you don't keep digging yoursel in the ribs. I have a 1997 Telecaster Plus, but all three of my pickups are single coil.
