An exceptional video. Well done. I actually watched it with the sound muted from the start, but I understand complaints about the music, also I understand the reasons for not being able to include the sounds of the trains. I liked the location names included, plus that you filmed many different locomotives for the journey. As a regular traveller on this, my local line, I recognised all the locomotives, but wondered if it would have helped rail enthusiasts if the class, numbers and names of the engines could have been added, especially as many were visitors or gala attendees ? Let’s all hope this fantastic railway can be up and running again soon, and the link to Wareham finally be in operation.
Thanks so much for your comment. Yes, I considered putting more loco detail in, and I ran it through some 'test' audiences first, some of whom were not rail enthusiasts. Most of those switched off without the music on it. So, with Swanage in trouble, I knew it wasn't just going to be rail fans that save the day, so I tried to aim it more at the general public, not just the fan club! To appease the enthusiasts though, I did re-render one of these without the music.
